Asuka has been my go to sushi spot for years! Prices are great, ambience is amazing and the manager Sean always makes sure we have a great experience. Hibachi, ramen and yakisoba are always a hit as well. They don’t miss.

This was our first time eating here and I loved it. The white dragon was my favorite, it was so buttery and delicious. Our server was very polite and helpful. After reading the reviews we decided to get the crab rangoons and they never made it to the picture because we devoured them first. We will be back asap!

Volcano Roll was great. It was very flavorful but sweeter than expected.

Yakisoba with chicken, okay but was surprised by the seaweed. It was an unexpected addition.

Hibachi steak and shrimp was decent, just overpriced. They don’t have many sauces though, we asked.

The place was okay, priced just fine. The one weird part was the server who kept talking to me and ignoring my partner lol.

Service was fine, it was just middle of the road.

We had a wonderful experience at Asuka. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable — perfect for enjoying a great meal.

You can tell they care about both the food and the experience they provide. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Asuka is one of my favorite restaurants. I come here for dinner dates with my bf or just out to lunch with my friends. The waiters are always nice and welcoming! The food is amazing, I love the crab rangoons, the chicken hibachi and the sushi is great quality!

Amazingg sushi. Delicious sake. Can clearly tell that it’s a Wake Forest favorite by the wait times on some weekends but totally worth it – my personal favorites are the crab rangoons, gyoza, screaming o roll, and spider roll. Also love a good sushi boat that’s not super duper expensive. Also beautiful, dimmer cozy lighting

Delicious, fresh and very affordable.. staff is fast and friendly. Lots of rolls to choose from & offered other varieties of dishes. Wish they had more sashimi options (i.e) Chutoro or Kampachi but
Loved they offer cucumber or soy wrapper in place and had options for no rice (what I got) it was yummy. This is on our rotation (almost weekly)

This may only be my 4th 5* restaurant review that I have ever given. Only 1 (Second Empire) still exists. But Asuka is a worthy fourth entrant.

This restaurant just gets better and better. I have been going for a few years and the food has always been immaculately presented and the staff courteous. Over these years, the layout of the restaurant has changed, perhaps to accommodate more patrons which sometimes dampened the ambience a little. However, now they have found the perfect balance of satisfying the eager patrons while maintaining a lovely atmosphere.

My most recent visit was on an icy night in January. My two cocktails (one a Gin-based, the other a Lychee sake) were perfect, all staff were jolly and attentative even if they weren’t directly taking care of my party of 4. The drinks and food menu is extensive. My ordered sushi’s are any of the “Dragons”, RTP roll, Mango Bango. All were delivered in a reasonable time for how busy the restaurant was. My 85 year old mum loved her Hibachi Steak and Shrimp plus Key Lime Cheesecake and Mango/ Coconut cheesecake.

Oh, and on a weekend evening, expect to wait for your table after 5.30. It is extremely popular. It’s a great place for a romantic dinner but is popular with families too.

Superb.

Our server, Katelyn, was amazing from start to finish, and the food was incredible as well! My 5-year-old even ate all of his food — which never happens. We will definitely be coming here a lot more often! Should’ve took before and after pictures hahaha
