Always a packed house during the summer months on weekends. Large servings of food, tasteful, great prices trust me you will need a take home box. For picky kid eaters they will find something. Never had a bad experience here. Kids love it. Weekends call ahead to reserve your table. One of it not Williamsburgs favorite breakfast spot.

A one hour wait for our breakfast order and a $4.50 side charge for an English Muffin? We had about a 20 minute wait to be seated. Service was okay, a bit slow but the waitress was good and cordial they just needed a couple more. The one hour wait for food seemed unusual and everyone around us was served and had left by the time our food arrived. This restaurant though loses major appeal though for high prices without informing you when ordering substitutions. I’ve NEVER been served an order of steak and eggs at any other restaurant anywhere at all that didn’t come with toast so imagine my shock at a charge of $4.50 when I asked them to substitute an English muffin for toast. I was not only told there was no toast but can you imagine paying $4.50 for one English muffin? My sister asked for a banana instead of the berries her waffle came with and they added $2 for that too. Food was decent, service was good, management sucks. Obviously the Astronomical is the side charges…..

Our waitress was extremely friendly. My wife got the pancakes, which were almost bigger than the plate they were served on. They were absolutely delicious. My daughter got the waffle which was normal waffle size and also very good. I got eggs with sausage links and cheese grits. The meal was very good and I also ate part of the rest of my families meals and left feeling like I was going to explode. Syrup was piping hot. The atmosphere was what you expect from a nice pancake house. Thanks for a great breakfast!

This was our breakfast/brunch on the way out from a 2 day stay for Busch Gardens. I read the reviews which stated not to pass by the cinnamon swirl pancakes and that the grits were the best ever. Both of which were completely correct! I will add the home fries are super tasty with a hint of rosemary , the tropical (forgot to grab a pic) waffle had perfectly ripe bananas-add the warm syrup and you’re in diabetic heaven! So much food- everything was delicious! Service was great! Pricing was definitely reasonable! You should totally come here for a wonderful breakfast!

Astronomical Pancake house!! Wow is all I can say. The Name says it all. My family and I was in the Williamsburg area for an early Juneteenth festival and we stopped by for breakfast. There is something on the menu for everyone and our server Josie was the Best. She was very knowledgeable. Everything was great. My family and I enjoyed everything. We will be back for another Astronomical Breakfast experience!!

The pancakes were astronomical in size for sure! The service was great, our waitress was amazing! That being said the pancakes were not very tasty, since they were so big they had to cook them longer making the edges so tough it was like cutting through a piece of overcooked ham. The omelette and French toast looked great and I was told they tasted great too. Worth going to but I’d hold on the astronomical pancakes.

My party of 2 came in about 10:15 am. We were seated quickly and our waitress Diane came over shortly after. She was not a good waitress and was impatient. She spent most of her downtime chatting with a guy that was dining that she obviously knew personally. We watched the rest of the staff keep busy but not Diane. Our food was good I just wish my baked apples on my caramel apple pancakes were cooked more.

Service was a little lacking. Not enough attention. However, with that said, they were somewhat busy. The food was delicious. The pancakes are massive and great at filling you up. The fruit is always fresh(awesome). Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Overall, an absolutely wonderful place to eat. Shakes are a little less to be desired. Meaning: if you want a milkshake, go somewhere else.

Just as good as I remember from eating here 9 years ago. Big fluffy pancakes, tasty ham, hot coffee and eggs. Our server was friendly and attentive. I must do for a big hearty breakfast before heading to Williamsburg.
