AstroDogs is a fun and flavorful stop for anyone looking for a unique twist on classic corn dogs.
We tried several from their creatively named menu—the “Neptune”, “Asteroid”, “Sun” and “Mars” dogs—and each one brought its own bold personality to the table.
The Neptune – rolled in cool ranch Doritos was my favorite. We also had the Asteroid came with fries “attached”.
The other two packed a bit more heat and crunch. The Sun dog (hot Cheetos) was bright and flavorful, and the Mars (takis) was hearty and satisfying with toppings that really worked.
AstroDogs makes corn dogs feel like a destination dish, not just an afterthought. With its playful menu, tasty options, and a laid-back vibe, it’s a great stop whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or satisfying a late-night craving. We’ll definitely be back to explore the rest of the lineup!

Absolute GOATed spot in the cargo district and Wilmington metropolitan area. I’ve been waiting to catch a good time to come cause there’s nothing like it around here. The half dog/cheese is unforgettable, the Cheeto dust never disappoints, and it’s more than easy to get lost in those sauces. I bet all types of the outer layer are amazing. 10/10. Coming back once a week for sure.

I want to preface this by saying I got this delivered, this did not affect the quality of the food at all. This was my first time trying Korean corn dogs so I didn’t have crazy expectations other than what I saw online. I got the Taki one and then one with French Fries in the batter. I got the taki one with just cheese and then the fry one with a hot dog. They were still hot and crispy when I got them. The crispness was nice! The hot dog didn’t have a lot of flavor, nor the cheese. The batter that they’re fried in is a little too sweet and too thick for me and made the extras+the sauces an odd flavor. I wish it was more savory and let the extras shine. The stick was also super long in order to support the heavy fried batter but this also means that you bite into the stick every single bite. It wasn’t bad but this won’t be a regular meal for me.

I have been wanting to try a Korean style corn dog for a long time. I was so happy to see that Astro dogs had this version of corn dog available! Me and my family went for lunch this afternoon.
I got the Astro with the Astro sauce. My wife got her corn dog with the hot Cheetos. My kids got their hotdog plain.
I absolutely love the cheese pool I got from my hotdog, so it was cheese, then hotdog all covered in a potato covering fried to a crisp with a special sauce.
Same thing with my wife it was half hotdog half cheese. My son, like the half cheese have hotdog as well and my daughter had just a hotdog.
Overall, everything was awesome. We did ask for the ketchup on the side for my son’s hot dog, and it came on it. That’s my only complaint. Other than that definitely would qualify as a good cheap and easy lunch or drunk food!

Great place for those Korean corn dogs the breading is so sweet and good my boyfriend loved it here. Best I’ve ever had so far. The place to eat them outside is very hot though in the summertime.

Atmosphere is outside so be aware of that during hot summer times! The corn dogs itself were delicious! I would definitely recommend for a little snack! But it’s a bit pricey at $8-9 a piece!

Absolutely loved the variety of corn dogs at Astro Dogs! Each one has its own twist, but my favorite by far was the Astro Belt — packed with flavor and super satisfying. I also love that you can add any sauce on top to make it even better. Definitely a fun and tasty spot in Wilmington!

When Astro Dogs first opened I went four days in a row since it had opened, It was just so close to my house and so easy and cheap I couldn’t not get it. Since then I get it at least once a week after classes, the lady who is always there (sorry idk her name) is always so sweet and greets me kindly every time, good costumer service mixed with good food makes for a great business. In short, I love astro dogs and 10/10 would recommend!!
