Refined, intimate, and very well executed. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, a real contrast to loud, chaotic bars nearby. Cocktails are excellent, thoughtfully crafted, and clearly taken seriously without any pretentious performance.

Service is professional and attentive, and the overall experience feels intentional and mature. No influencer circus, no noise overload, just good drinks in a space designed for actually enjoying them. One of the better cocktail spots in the city if you value quality and atmosphere over hype.

If you haven’t heard, the Astor Club is the spot! The food, ambiance, and overall experience is a 10/10. But the best part would have to be the staff. Maddi, who works in both the lounge and Chef’s Table, is not only a kind and attentive server, but elevates each experience to make it memorable. Additionally, Shada, a newer server in the lounge, never fails to put a smile on my face. From the moment you walk in and Rae greets you, to when you finish up your last bites the Astor Club is a great place to be.

Front desk reception guy is beyond rude and deserves to be fired. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Started off terrible ended terrible. Would give 0/0 stars for service.

Update: Management reached out. They were very proactive in trying to settle this issue. A bit defensive but I understand they want to preserve their reputation.

I had an incredible private dining experience at Astor Club Chicago last night.

Huge thanks to Michelin-starred Chef Trevor Teich and the entire service team, including the sommelier, for their professionalism and attention to detail. The intimate, private setting made it even more special. The 9-course dinner paired perfectly with wines — every bite was thoughtfully curated.

Truly unforgettable!

An unforgettable dining experience at Astor Club Chicago.
I had the pleasure of attending a Forbes Travel Guide evening here, and it exceeded every expectation.
9-course tasting menu was nothing short of exceptional, each dish a perfect balance of precision, creativity, and refined flavors. You could feel the intention behind every detail.

The setting itself is intimate, elegant, and quietly luxurious, the kind of place where everything feels thoughtfully curated.

A special thank you to Chef Trevor Teich for a truly remarkable culinary journey. This was not just dinner, it was an experience.

Absolutely worth it. Bravo, Chef

Michelin chef dinner party with seafood towers and steaks with excellent cocktails. Private supper club in the space of the old Maxim’s of Chicago from the 1960’s where the Rat Pack used to to dine and where the Beatles gave their quote to a reporter about being bigger than Jesus
