Honestly it was just ok for dinner. The atmosphere was nice when you first get there, but it quickly becomes very loud with people talking and kids playing in the courtyard. I could barely hear my own conversation at my table.

I was also not very impressed with the food. We had the Roasted Garlic Hummus for an appetizer, and it was not the right consistency. It was too much like a dipping sauce rather than what hummus should be, and it would drip off the veggies and pita bread.
On the Southern Chick, there was barely any hot honey or sauce on it in general, and we had to ask for extra mayo on the side just to eat it.
The Assembly Dip also was just mostly bread, and the au jus was extremely salty.
Honestly the only thing we really enjoyed was the Corn Succotash.
The cocktails on the menu were also just ok.
Maybe the pizzas are a better choice from here.

Just had lunch at Assembly House with my dad, and it was a hit. We started with the truffle fries, and they were cooked perfectly. This was a hit between the two of us.

My dad had the Southern Chick and really liked it, but the honey was a little too sweet for his tastes. He said he would get it again, just without the hot honey. He was hoping for the sandwich to have a little kick to it.

I had the Cali chick, and it was great. I also like some spice to my sandwich, and while they didn’t have pickled jalapeños today, I did try their giardiniera. This isn’t prepared the same way I am used to at places like Portillo’s, so it wasn’t my favorite, but the sandwich was otherwise really great. I did talk with the chef and he was very receptive to my feedback and am looking forward to visiting next week again for lunch.

They also had the large garage doors open today, so you could enjoy the beautiful weather. Great food, the pricing is excellent for lunch, especially compared to other choices nearby. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, a great addition to the community.

I ate here recently with a large group. The food and service was excellent. Everyone I was with enjoyed what they ordered, whether the pasta, pizza, a burger, the chicken sandwhich, or salmon. I’m told the pasta had a little kick to it from one person, and another said the garlic was strong (but that she liked it). The pepperoni pizza also had a subtle kick to it, in the red sauce, but people loved it. My salmon was super tasty, and they were very gracious accommodating for a food allergy (GF+). I want to try their steak next. They were also very accommodating with an allergy I have. I would say it’s an affordable steakhouse alternative in terms of experience and quality. Love having a place this nice locally!

What a great new spot in Sunnyvale! The food was amazing…everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and on top of it, especially Sydnee – she was awesome! Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a new go-to place to eat around here.

Wonderful addition to Sunnyvale! Nice to have a cocktail and experience a fine dinner. We had a group of 4 for dinner. We started out with the Caddy, Sunnyvale Sour, and Assembly Lines with peach and strawberry. All very good!

For food — My husband and I split the Hot Honey Prosciutto pizza and each got a side salad to start. The side salad was delicious with a house strawberry vinaigrette. The pizza was really tasty, I love the honey sweetness! Another in our party had the House Pasta with shrimp and I had a taste; also yummy with a kick! Lastly, the other person had the salmon. Portion sizes were good, but I guess we were really hungry because we all cleaned our plates and even ordered dessert. We split two of the desserts: cookie board and cheesecake. Also cleaned our plates there! The chef came out to say hello and ask how everything was. Service was great, never an empty glass.

We will be back to try other things on the menu!

Amazing food and service! And delish cocktails with great happy hour! Best restaurant in Sunnyvale and surrounding area. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. I got the Burrata Bliss sandwich with cous cous and hubby got the burger and fries. 10 out of 10! Next I will try the Goat and Fig pizza. Can’t wait!!!

Stopped by on Saturday late afternoon. Surprised there were still quite a few people there. Sat at the bar. Jenn was cool and helpful. Sat next to another couple and they were super friendly. Kinda the vibe. Easy going and cool. Kids were playing in the outside area and the doors were open which was cool because it was a beautiful day. Had meatballs which were delish and truffle fries. I don’t normally like the battered fries but these were awesome. Not greasy at all and just enough truffle taste. As we were walking in one of the wait staff was outside emptying the trash. He stopped and said hello. They refreshing to see that good service starts before you even get in the restaurant.

Been to AH on three occasions. It never disappointed. Smash Burger, Salman & Chicken was all delicious. Old Fashions was spot on. Service was great. The manager & chief made rounds to every table making sure they were good. Love it.

An Absolute Gem with Phenomenal Vibes and Food
We were just passing through and stopped in for some dinner. If we were locals this would quickly become our new local spot, seamlessly blending an eclectic menu with a comforting down-home flair. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The hostess was gracious and incredibly attentive, setting a perfect tone. The servers were equally attentive throughout the meal, anticipating our needs without being intrusive—a truly top-tier service experience. The crowd felt like stylish locals, giving the entire place a polished yet comfortable feel.
The food itself was delicious and the menu offers something for everyone, making it easy to find a familiar favorite or try something adventurous. Best of all, considering the quality, everything was reasonably priced. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who was amazing and friendly, clearly taking pride in their food and their guests’ experience.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is its dual environment, offering different vibes for different occasions. You can enjoy a relaxing drink by the outdoor fireplace, creating a cozy and social atmosphere. Inside, the bar area features screens for watching sports, but it definitely avoids the rowdy atmosphere of a typical sports bar—it maintains that elegant local style. This versatility also makes it an excellent, family-friendly choice—it’s the perfect place to bring the kids for a good meal after a local school or sport event.
If you’re looking for good vibes, great food, and flawless service, look no further. This place is a must-visit. I rarely write reviews, but this spot hit the mark. Loved it.
