Let me preface this by saying I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. I’m not here to bash, this is a friendly heads up/PSA.
Quick story time..
We were here on Saturday Feb 21st and had a 6:30pm dinner reservation. As expected the place was busy and we had a short wait past our reservation time, no biggie. Our waitress was very friendly however as a large group felt slightly ignored or brushed off at times. I realize they are a popular and busy restaurant and we are not expecting special treatment in any way, however the wait to receive our drinks, and dinner rolls was about 20 minutes. Refills for our beverages were challenging to come by as we didn’t see our waitress for some time or she was busy helping other customers.
The atmosphere here is phenomenal. Everything is pretty, except unfortunately for the lady’s room. It’s not ugly but it was very dirty. Again, I know it’s busy but as paying customers don’t we deserve to have a clean place to excuse ourselves to?
The food here is pure perfection every single time. So SO delicious
Last night I went with the special for $29. It had beautiful noodles with shrimp, crab meat, clams and mussels. It was Devine.. BUT even after removing all the meat from the mussels and clams, while eating I crunched down on several smaller broken shards of shell. OUCH I chewed much more carefully from there on.
So if you have this particular special please be mindful of the potential for broken pieces of shell.

Make sure you call ahead early enough, otherwise you’ll be told how they don’t take reservations for the same day, even though the place was 1/2 empty when we got there. Service was good, other than one of the staff commenting “you must be the table that called the same day”. Like really get over yourselves, you’re a slightly above average Italian restaurant. The only reason we were here is for a birthday and because the birthday person likes the place. Food was decent, about the same as previous visits. Everyone had something different and all were good. Always warm inside, making it comfy on a cold day. Other than the attitude, it was an ok experience.

My fiancé and I dined here today for dinner. He had the the Braised Short ribs over mashed potatoes. I had the flounder with artichoke. Our appetizer was the fried calamari and as part of our dinner I had a side garden salad and he the cream of mushroom soup.
Pros: our server was really great. Very attentive and polite. The food, DELICIOUS! Everything about the short ribs was spot on. They were very tender and flavorful. My founder was cooked perfectly.
The cream of mushroom soup was savory and hearty.
Very satisfying meal.
Cons: Although they require a reservation for guaranteed seating, it isn’t clearly indicated on their website. I checked several times. They were able to accommodate us at the bar which is fine but I would have preferred to sit at a table. Note: if you need same day reservations, our server recommends calling before 4pm the day of for an evening table.
Also the braised short ribs were more expensive than what was indicated on the menu. Which I found to be a little uncomfortable. He did tell us when we ordered about the difference but I still found it to be a little uncomfortable.
Overall it really wasn’t bad experience. The restaurant has a great family feel that I found very pleasant. We plan to return soon (this time with a reservation).
I highly recommend them if you want some really delicious Italian cuisine.

We visited Assante for the first time for my mother’s birthday. The food was good. We were all satisfied with the appetizers and entrees. It is plentiful and delicious. I wish the plates themselves were cleaner. Some of the waitresses were also very loud and speaking inappropriately as if we weren’t there. Other than that, it was a good experience. I might be back in the future.

Went last night to dinner for valentine’s day. Waited over an hour for food to come out. The interior smelled like a bathroom. Later this morning I wake up with terrible stomach pain and then throw up. Thought this place was good because i’ve heard so many good things about it, but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Passed this place 1000 times and everytime sitting at the traffic light we say ” We have to try that place” Well we finally did!!! Fantastic is the first word that comes to mind. Everything from the Bread to the salad and entrees. Bravo Assante Bravo, thank you for the dining experience. I can’t wait to go back! The food is amazing the portions are huge and the staff is terrific. We will be returning… Is still our go to for Italian food. We have been there many times now, And every time is as good as the time before one of our favorite restaurants in Lehigh Valley, currently

Took our Italy-born father to enjoy an Italian meal. We all had an excellent time and the server was from Italy, which made the experience so much better for him on Father’s day. He was able to speak his native language, and get a “nod-of-approval” cup of espresso after the meal.
Overall, the meal was delicious and the portions are big. Leftovers for the next day. Right-out-of-the-oven bread was sooo good.
The salads were leafy green and super fresh. Would highly recommend over Olive Garden — like without a doubt. The service, the food, and the atmosphere is so much better for a more reasonable price.

Assante has become my new favorite spot!
The bread they give in the beginning is a great starter and the entrees are to die for! My go to plate is the Gnocchi but I try to get something new every time we visit. I also appreciate that the staff is always friendly every time we go.

We stopped by at 4pm this Sunday in March, 2023 after the movie at Roxy theater.
Nunzia was our server and she hustled throughout to assure our pleasant dining experience. Nice to see multiple servers interaction with all table service.
A plate of short ribs over homemade mashed and side salad with fresh dinner rolls, $22.
Although the meat was a bit salty, the portion resembled a mini roast, tender and tasty.
The real veal Parmigiana entree accompanied by 4 oz portion of spaghetti & side salad, $27.
