2nd time we have been let down, last time was months ago and we were hoping it was a one off. Ive been a patron for 20+ years over several owners and a move. Will bot be back after this. On new years day they were short staffed however not over busy (1/2 full roughly). An elder couple who was seated prior to us attemted to get the servers attention multiple times and was feeling ignored. I mentioned this to our waitress and they were sill waiting to order for another 5 minuets, we had ordered a while prior to getting server attention for them. Ourvfood arrived and my potatoes were under cooked, my benedict eggs were over cooked, further more the food was served luke warm, and my wife ordered a side of toast with her meal that was brought to the table at the end of our meal, also cold enough to not melt room temp butter.
Whole meal was a let down.

Had a great business lunch at Aspen Perk, food was good. Pickle spears were great! Everything you’d expect from a small town cafe. Shanell provided excellent service, food came out fast and my ice tea was never empty. I was worried the smaller environment would be too noisy for a business lunch but it was great. Great stop for breakfast coming or going up 285. Breakfast is popular with the locals so it can get a bit busy but the fast service will get you taken care of.

I LOVE this adorable restaurant! The food is outstanding. The service is friendly. The ambiance is perfect. Also can we just talk about the fact that they have multiple, clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan options? Seriously scrumptious ones too. My Southwest Tofu Scramble was so flavorful. The vegan green chili is out of this world. Hearty portions make sure you leave full and happy. Can’t wait to go back!

Came here with my mom. We ordered garden veggie omelettes, which had ingredients on it that were not listed in the menu description. They were very expensive for what they were, but I guess everything is expensive now. Neither of us ate much as the omelettes were soupy, which was pretty gross. Our server must have been having a very bad day because she was quite rude and inattentive, and I usually give a lot of latitude to servers because it’s not an easy job. We asked for waters twice and never got them. She acted like we were an annoying inconvenience to her. We were envious of other tables who had a super friendly server. The smell in there is pretty awful. Two stars for the tasty cinnamon roll but we won’t be back.

Second, you need a cook who knows what over easy is and actually cares about preparing food.
Third, you need to figure out how to serve fresh poached eggs vs. letting them sit in an “egg bath” all day so they can get hard, rubbery, and bouncy!
Fourth, a serving of toast is 4 pieces not 2!
Was a regular every weekend (almost) and although I did not care for the old owner, the food was consistent and always good. Especially the eggs Benedict.
First time in today since the new owner(s) took over. Absolutely disappointed. Except for our waitress.
Both my daughter and I ordered the California Benedict. Poached eggs came out like rubber super balls. Our wonderful waitress explained to us about the poached eggs and said the remaining poached eggs in the “egg bath” were all hard and bouncy. Could we please order something else.
I ordered 2 eggs over easy, bacon, and sourdough toast. I was served the worst “over easy” eggs I have ever seen and one slice (2 pieces) of toast. The whites were super hard and crusty.
What a disappointment. You expect people to eat whatever slop is made and just deal with it. I’m sorry, but I refuse to pay for anything I wouldn’t feel right about serving to a guest. It’s a luxury for most people to eat out now. If I am going to spend my hard earned money, the food better be good.
We tipped our waitress very nicely and walked out. Enough said.

Oh my gosh!! This place is AMAZING!!!! Super cute inside and I love the art! The staff was amazing! Shanell was our server and she was so kind and nice! 🙂 Food was FANTASTIC! I got the Turkey & Apple Panini and it has a raspberry vinaigrette that I wasn’t quite sure about it but it was INCREDIBLE everyone in my group (there was 6 of us) loved our food & drinks! ❤️

Stopped in on a little day trip into the mountains and sat outside on the spacious patio. Menu has a lot of options including all day breakfast, vegetarian choices, and espresso bar selections. The country potatoes are more like french fries in my opinion, but were crisp and tasty. The pancakes are thick and really delicious. I will be back when I’m not driving to try the adult beverage selections!

Awesome little mom and pop local spot! Amazing customer service and great food. Giant portions, so bring your appetite! There’s truly something here for everyone, meat, fish, gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian, will make substitutions on request. Few beers on tap, more in bottles, and full bar. Super friendly environment, Matthew our server/bartender was very helpful with order suggestions and good local spot recommendations. Website is being renovated, so I snapped a fee pics of the menu. New to the area, we will definitely return! Military discount offered, very kind.
