I ran across this place in our travels and decided to give it a whirl. There is plenty of parking here, and it’s definitely not a problem. We walked in and were seated by a friendly staff immediately. Very cool cabin like atmosphere inside this building. This is a table service kind of place and you pay your server when done. Our waitress came quickly and took our drink orders and appetizer order. The sweet tea is very sweet here and has a good tea flavor. We shared the country fried steak. This is one of the best country fried steaks that I’ve ever had, made from black Angus and so tender it was incredible, with flavor that just was incredible. Mac-n-cheese was a side, super cheesy and creamy in taste, and they didn’t disappoint. Mashed potatoes with the same cream gravy that the hamburger steak had was the second side, real potatoes, awesome flavor, and texture. This meal did not disappoint! We topped it off with deep-fried cheese cake. This is unbelievable, still cold in the middle, yet fried with a Carmel drizzle and ice cream, AWESOME!!! If you’re in the area, stop in and give this great place a chance to tempt your taste buds! 2 thumbs up!!

Barely 4/5 but still a 4. The place comes off like higher level Texas Roadhouse. Menu does have variety. We had pow wow shrimp and potato skin appetizers. She had the Cajun chicken meal with baked potato and I had the ribeye and rib combo with fries and Mac and cheese. The Mac and Cheese was NOT GOOD at all but the rest of the food was delicious and I may return again. The Cajun Catfish had a great tasting sauce over it. The ribeye was seasoned very well and delicious.

We have been wanting to check out the Aspen Creek Grill for quite some time, so we made a lunch trip.
The menu has a pretty decent selection and variety, but not the best.
They do offer their own version of bang bang shrimp, but it is not as good of a dish as Bone Fish serves.
The rest of our food was only okay. I highly encourage everyone to steer clear of the green chili grits; this was no good at all.
Outside of the food, the atmosphere was nice. We were thrown off because it looks like a somewhat formal restaurant from the outside, but the inside seems more like a Texas Roadhouse. Our waitress was excellent, friendly, and very enjoyable to have as a server.
I would recommend trying out another restaurant for you lunch and dinner plans.

Nice little restaurant. We got a booth with out any real wait and our server Tyler was great. Our steaks were delicious and frankly one of the best I’ve had this year. I tried the fried cheese cake, but it was a one and done.

The best steak!!!! So flavorful, cooked just how it was ordered. Man it was so good! The sangria I wouldn’t get again though, could barely taste the wine, it was very fruity.

A jewel tucked away next to Oxmoor Mall and behind Kohls and auto dealership. Unbelievable deal on Monday night with a sirloin steak and two sides for $9.99! My sirloin was soft, well-prepared medium and it was more delicious than a strip steak I had three nights before on Frankfort Ave and at three times the price. My green beans were delightfully seasoned and sweet potato casserole was superb, with marshmallows on top! The atmosphere was dark and rich and gave me a sense as though I was in a lodge in the Rocky Mountains. Why I have not been there before I don’t know, but it’s my new go-to for sirloin steak and I look forward to trying their salmon and ahi tuna! Server Everett was patient answering all my questions and helping to make suggestions and by doing so helped to make the dining experience perfect for my date and me. Thank you, Aspen Creek!

Service was surprisingly slow for a low traffic time of day. Plenty of wait staff but very little customer interaction. Food was great. Presentation was decent. A little unsure abt the location. It seems set out of the way. Would give it a second chance during a dinner rush.
