Came in today for the first time. I ordered the Italian turkey sub and a chai latte. Both were absolutely fantastic, quality ingredients, even better quality service! Will be back to try the Reuben and more drinks! Highly recommend!

Glad I stumbled upon this place! Great menu, good prices and they had an amazing selection of products, everything from teas to tins of baklava to hot sauce sample packs. My litmus test for any deli is a Reuben and this place didn’t disappoint. It was stacked with corned beef and the balance of dressing and sauerkraut was perfect. The portion was so big I ended up eating half for lunch and the other half for dinner. The staff was friendly and fast. I will definitely be back!

Stopped in this small cafe for lunch yesterday while running errands with my mom and aunt – neither of whom had tried Ethiopian/Eritrean food before. I live in DC, where we have great Ethiopian food, and I was really impressed with what we got at Asmarina! The veggie combo and the beef tibs bowl were both delicious and the portion sizes were very large. We also tried a lentil sambusa, which was freshly fried and one of the best I have had. Food is made to order, and they also have a variety of American-style and deli food for those looking for a more traditional breakfast or lunch. Service was very friendly, and it was great to support a family-run place. I would highly recommend Asmarina and am looking forward to returning!

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from the gym to see what Asmarina had to offer. Upon entering the cafe, you see shelves to the left stocked with different kinds of teas, coffees, jams, pasta, and more. To the right, there’s a small seating area with some chairs facing the window. I ordered the French bread sandwich and my husband ordered the rueben sandwich. To drink, I got an Earl Grey tea and my husband got a coffee (I can’t remember which kind). Lastly, we got some cucumber salad and a mini jar of strawberry and cranberry jam. The food was wonderful! The French bread was crunchy and fresh, and my husband loved his sandwich. His only critique was that he wished it had more sauce and more pickles on the side. He’s a saucy guy, so this isn’t a negative critique. I appreciated being given a small milk jug to add the amount of almond milk that I wanted in my tea. Most places usually guess and either add way too much or not enough.
Overall, we plan on coming here again to try more sandwiches and desserts!

A cute little family-owned store. We were in the area and thought we’d stop by. We’re pleasantly surprised by the very affordable prices, extent of the menu, and excellent customer service. Have some dry goods like pasta and jams on the side for purchase too. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The vibes of this place are immaculate. I feel like this place would fit so well into a hallmark movie or contemporary romance. Like the music, the atmosphere, the sound of coffee beans grinding in the back. It’s warm and cosy, and like I want to stay here and write.
The man was so nice and the food was very good. Their avacado BLT is amazing. The man at the counter helped me carry my food to my car. I highly recommmend this hidden gem.
