Very good food. I tried the”festive” dishes for Christmas and apart from the Brussels sprout in the Carbonara (not very good “fusion” choise in my view) all was spectacular! Fedtive Panetone it is a must!

I have come here before and ate very nice food. However when I went a couple of days ago, we ordered two gluten-free pizzas, and we were both left unsatisfied. Both were very bland, mine had hardly any tomato sauce, herbs or cheese on it and did not taste like pizza. The other pizza had bechamel sauce instead of tomato, and was bland too. The gluten-free dough was very dry and hard, and had a weird, bad taste. I’ve had different gluten-free pizzas and they can have much nicer, tastier dough, but the ones here at ask italian were not good. I could not finish the pizza; I always eat a whole one.
The mocktail was nice. The staff were friendly and the waiter who served us was very kind.
The normal pizzas they brought out to the table next to us looked much nicer, with more ingredients on top. I understand that gluten-free pizza is harder to make, but I’ve had much nicer ones, the ones here were not good and I would not eat again. For the price of £16-17, it was not worth it at all.

Visited for lunch and we had a lovely view out towards Bishops Palace.
We had previously been sat somewhere else but the seat was soo uncomfortable I asked to be moved. The table we ate at the chairs were also uncomfortable/very thin cushioning.
Couldn’t fault the food or the service just the cheap primary school chairs.

Wow they are just amazing me and my partner and baby came we had mishap with a pick up order which took along time to sort out due not being able to speak to someone but peter at the wells branch has been amazing and very helpful and also the manager today made us feel very welcome to be fair they are all very friendly but peter and the manager have done you proud we really love coming to ask and will definitely continue to …keep up the good work thank you again couldn’t ASK for better !! Had a really lovely meal at ASK Italian in Wells. The food was spot on and came out quickly, but what really made the difference was the service. Ryan looked after us and was genuinely friendly, attentive without hovering, and made us feel very welcome. It’s always nice when someone clearly enjoys their job. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Wells.
