The food was served quickly and was very well prepared. Portions were generous and the prices reasonable.
Everything was delicious! For mains, we had the Burrata & Pancetta Carbonara, two Calzones (Carne Piccante), and the Pollo e Pancetta pizza. For dessert, we chose the Lemon Sorbet and two portions of the coffee & mini dessert – a great option if you fancy something sweet but don’t want a large portion.
The staff were nice and attentive.

We visited on Friday 13th February and had such a lovely experience. Khadija, the deputy manager, made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. She was friendly, attentive and thoughtful without being overbearing. She even went to check the cellar for a wine that’s no longer on the menu and found a bottle for me- such amazing service! Honestly one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. A real credit to the team. Thank you Khadija and the lovely team at the Oxford branch. The food was amazing and we had such a wonderful time.

We had such a great experience at Ask Italian, made even better by Coco’s excellent service! Best service in Oxford was from him. The food was spot on the Beef Brisket Pappardelle was tender, soft, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it if you’re visiting. The Lecca Lecca Chicken was another standout, so tasty and full of flavour. To finish, me and my partner shared the Brownie dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal.

My buddy and I met in Oxford for an afternoon out and decided to have a late lunch at Ask. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The resraurant was calm and quiet, just what we wanted, in order to have a quiet chat. The service was prompt and the drinks were brought to us in no time at all. Our overall experience was good, so thank you to Kadija and the barman on duty on the 28th Feb 2026.

Really enjoyed dining here during my trip. The food was fresh, full of flavour. We ordered a Margherita pizza 10/10 and the classic Carbonara 9/10. The atmosphere was very welcoming.
Matilde was there and made us feel comfortable with attentive but easygoing service. Overall, a great Italian spot and I’d happily come back.

Came here for dinner. Coco was extremely welcoming when I first entered the restaurant and even served a mini complimentary lemonade — A+ for service! The pappardelle was delicious as well and very well-plated.
