You know when you wish you had ordered something else? That’s how I felt. First time in an ‘Ask Italian’. Starter of garlic bread and one of the melted cheese specials … very nice. We ordered the Burrata & Pancetta Carbonara, which was apparently nice and I tossed between the Pappardelle and the Pollo Della Casa, finally plunging for the Pollo. It was sort of ok. Pasta was al dente, sauce was like creamyish gravy. It just didn’t look appealing, odd colour, you could taste salty mushrooms. I just wish I had chosen something different. I didn’t speak to anyone about it as I had ordered it. Staff were friendly, atmosphere welcoming. Prices were top end for the mains.

I recently visited Ask Italian and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made me feel welcome right away.
The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, perfect for dining with friends or family. Some dishes were really tasty, especially the fried starters with dips. However, the risotto was a bit bland and the rice slightly undercooked, which was disappointing.
Overall, Ask Italian offers a nice dining experience with great service and a relaxed vibe. Just a little improvement on the risotto would make it even better.

Brilliant service my beer was served within minutes of ordering. The food was lovely tasty and freshly prepared. The waitress built a good rapport and made an excellant recommendation

We had an amazing experience at Ask Italian. The set menu was brilliant and well worth the £29. Using the Ask perks Ap also gave us an extra 10% off. The service was superb, our server Ella was very friendly and polite. Some of the best customer service I have experienced.

We had our staff party here and it was such a great night. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was lovely, and everything ran smoothly. Huge shout-out to our server Paige, who looked after us so well, and Jess for making drinks quickly and keeping them flowing. Thanks to the whole team, we’ll definitely be back!
