Finally was able to stop at this establishment for the first time after driving by it at least once a month. It did not disappoint. There are some really interesting things on the menu. It’s not the same old boring stuff.

My server was Jasmine and she was very attentive very friendly. Excellent service she explained about how they make the dressings and everything from scratch.

I had the grilled chicken salad with the strawberries and pecans in it with raspberry vinaigrette. Oh my God it was so good.

Good prices on the food. The manager even stopped by and asked me if I was doing OK. Everybody is very friendly and it seems like they actually enjoy working there.

Wow! As soon as you walk in the door the awesome atmosphere hits you. The inside has great old school diner vibes. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I visited during breakfast and ordered the Texas Trash because it looked like a very unusual and interesting combo. I did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection, and the combination of flavors blended perfectly. 10 of 10, highly recommend! I will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area.

It’s a nice place with diner setting. I will say our waitress was one of the most cordial and gregarious persons I’ve ever met! Charo was super sweet, helpful and welcoming. I was impressed with the historical setting as well with the casual family type ambiance of the restaurant. The lunch menu was great, offering an excellent variety of tasty options and all well priced. We had a quick stop for lunch prior to our visit to nearby Surfside Beach. What a great find. Clean restaurant and restrooms too. Plenty of free parking. Nice area in Clute/Lake Jackson.

Stumble on this place, it sits next to a small lake with a great view. Food and service were both great! Good size menu and fresh squeeze juice. Fairly priced

I was there with 3 other people. I had a cheeseburger with bacon and fries. It was pretty good. Not anything to write home about. A friend ordered the shrimp tacos and thought they were great. Someone else order the Monte Cristo and thought it was okay. Considering there were 8 tables occupied by customers and 8 employees that I counted it look much longer than I thought necessary to get our food. The waitress was friendly and accommodating.

I eat lunch and dinner here often. The food is and has been good since they opened. I order the all you can eat fried shrimp and it has always been good. Today I ordered it and like normal they broughty first plate and I told my waitress to keep them coming. Normally they put another order in but she waited until I was done before coming to my table and asking if I wanted more. I said yes and it took 8 minutes before I got more shrimp. Again I told her to put in for another order but she waited until I was done with what I had and put in an order for more shrimp. I had to wait 9 minutes before they got me more shrimp. I did more waiting for the shrimp then eating. I had to go to work so I couldn’t stay there for hours waiting for them to bring me more shrimp. After 45 minutes of this I had to go and I left hungry. I don’t know if they changed the policy or what’s going on but they want you to buy an all you can eat plate and control how they bring it out. They want to bring 6 at a time and want to wait until you are finished what’s on your plate before they will put in an order for more shrimp. So plan on being there for a long time if you want to get your money’s worth . Unfortunately I had to go to work so I couldn’t. I talked to the manager. He said I can take 12 shrimp with me to go this time but normally they don’t let you take any. I didn’t order the fried shrimp to take with me. Cold or reheated shrimp is not the same as fresh fried shrimp. Paying 25 dollars and leaving hungry is not what I wanted to do. Normally I would recommend this place but not now. . I’m very disappointed

We had a wonderful brunch experience at Asiel’s in Lake Jackson. This was our first time visiting, and from the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Our waitress, Jeff Jess, was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. Since we had never been before, she took the time to give us her opinions on several menu items, which we truly appreciated and ended up loving.
The entire staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes including pancakes, omelets, and classic eggs and bacon with toast, and everything was cooked perfectly. I even enjoyed a mimosa, which was a great addition to brunch.
One of our favorite parts of the experience was the atmosphere and the history. Our children especially loved learning about the mammoth that was discovered in the pit that has since become the lake the restaurant overlooks. It turned our meal into a fun history lesson for them while we dined.
We were extremely happy with both the service and the food and will absolutely be returning as regulars. Asiel’s is a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking for a welcoming brunch experience.

Had breakfast at Asiel’s with my wife, and it did not disappoint. I went with the “Texas Trash”, and she had the “Roasted Red Potato Hash”. Both were excellent. Portions are Texas big, so come hungry.

We got there early, before 9 AM, so there was not much of a crowd. By the time we left around 10 AM, there was a wait. Definitely worth getting there early if you do not want to wait. We asked for a view and got seated in the back dining room overlooking Mammoth Lake, which was a nice touch. If you are not familiar, it is a man-made lake where they found a mammoth fossil. Pretty cool piece of local history.

If you are looking for a solid breakfast spot that is not a chain and actually feels local, this is the place. The menu has a great variety, the food is really good, and you are supporting a local business. We will definitely be back.
