First time visitors. Our waitress was the ABSOLUTE BEST! The chicken fried steak was perfect. Potatoes were eh. Cream corn very good and surprisingly great iced tea for that area!

This place was featured on Yolo Texas so we decided to make a visit on our way to Euston. It is on a man-made lake where they found the task of a mammoth. We got a water view seat and had lunch. I got the doughnut burger, which the donut was the bun with a nice perfectly cooked hamburger patty with bacon in the middle. It was a nice balance between sweet and salty. There’s lots of seating and lots of parking and the service was good. The TV show made it look like the place was built out more than it was so the view was a little disappointing, but overall, if you’re in the area, it’s a nice place to visit. In the front of the restaurant is a display of the mammoths skull along with the history of how it came to be, and was found.

It’s a nice place where people come to get coffee and chat. The breakfasts we had were delicious. The server was patent as we described something a little if menu. View was refreshed at a very good pace, but too late or too pushy.

Restaurant with view of man made Lake with archeological artifacts found in the lake exhibited at the restaurant. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which I was told was very popular. It was a skinny ground meat patty and not very tasty. The brown gravy tasted and looked like it was from a powder package. The cole slaw was very good. I was in a hurry so I didn’t ask to have anything replaced. The price was very affordable, so I’d definitely go back to find a favorite meal. The place was crowded and that makes me think I just didn’t order their specialty. Service was good, friendly and pretty fast.

Came here on a Friday night after driving by the past few days and seeing the number of cars in the parking lot and reviewing their online menu. We saw the French Onion pork chop and that sounded really good so we decided to forgo eating seafood and try Asiels. That was a Fantastic decision , we were lucky to be seated with a great view of Mammoth Lake and our server was Josh. He was fantastic from beginning to end, super attentive to our table with recommendations for our dinner all the way through desert. Josh kept our drinks full and made our first time here a very pleasurable experience. Our pork chops were delicious and we topped it off with ice cream and cheesecake for desert. This will be a restaurant we will look forward to coming back to again and again when we visit the coast. Highly recommended!! and ask for Josh, he knocked it out of the park with his service!

Myself and 3 friends visited Asiel’s on St. Patrick’s Day for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. The food was cooked perfectly and arrived within a very reasonable time. Austin was our server and he was AMAZING! He had the perfect balance of making sure we weren’t missing anything and hovering. He was RUNNING the whole time we were there but never missed a beat! I have nothing negative to say about Asiel’s or Austin. And, their St. Patrick’s Day shake was very impressive!!!

Stopped in for breakfast before a dive (since it’s right out front of Mammoth Lake) and got an amazing amount of food that was all pretty good. Popular place too, with the downside of that being it felt crowded, and the AC was dripping. Great service too. Definitely worth a visit.

First visit here. Got the ”all you can eat shrimp”. It was good. Only once did I have to wait to get more shrimp. The small display with the history of the area was interesting also. The onion rings are battered in-house after being dipped in blue bell ice cream
