We used to eat here all the time. Staff is friendly and food was decent. One day, one of the sushi plates we ordered, had a clump of hair in it. Wish I had gotten a picture. It was not a single hair, it was an entire clump and my friend noticed one hair, took it out, then lifted another piece of the sushi roll to reveal a large clump, 20-30 longish brown hairs. Seems like something out of a horror movie. It was if someone cleaned their hairbrush over the sushi bar. We called and they didn’t believe us since this was a take out order. They tried to tell us that it must be “stringy seaweed” or something else. Uhm no, it was definitely a huge clump of human hair! They finally took the sushi off the bill and refunded the credit card. They offered no other explanation or compensation. Used to order here once a week and now will never, ever, order again. Sad because some of their dishes are unique and quite tasty.

We pulled in after a golf outing and were surprised how great the food was! The spare rib appetizer was the best we have had. No fat and juicy meat! And the chicken there was not fatty and very fresh! Definitely will be back when I’m in stamford.

I used to come here a lot when I was younger (7+ years ago). However, the food quality became worse over time. The food seemed cheap and frozen. Wish it was as nice as before

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had asked for a high chair for my 18 month daughter and the owner/manager was annoyed and said there will be no room to walk for customers. It was Christmas Day and there was a total of 3 tables. How Rude!!! What a disgusting way to speak to people. Never going back there.

They’ve actually gone quite down hill this year. My wife use to like their shrimp with mango and gets it every time we order from there. The last two times it was soggy which means canned mangoes not the fresh ones the owner/manager claimed after her first complaint.I shared it with her this time and was very disappointed.We’ll have to try something else if we go back or see if Kampei 2 meets all our needs..

Food is always delicious shout out to the kitchen staff. Service is quick but every time I go this one guy says “lotta food” and I don’t know why that annoys me. Mind your business please. love the food but I won’t eat there again.

Terrible! We ordered several dishes. One disappointment after the other. Either very bland drunken noodles and sesame noodles or exceptionally sweet spicy beef – and it was more like candy cane beef. Hot and sour soup was bland and sweet. I guess Americans like sweet food, that’s the word? Ugh! Huge disappointment! Called the manager to express dissatisfaction and simply assured he will notify the kitchen. Thanks for nothing.

Enjoyed their chicken & broccoli bento box for lunch takeout. It came with rice, hot& sour soup, and California rolls. Nice front desk people as well. We will try the jumbo shrimp bento box today.
