I’m always skeptical of Asian fusion restaurants because I have this perspective that they are more likely to do one type of food very well and many types of food “just average.” Asian Yummy in Knoxville is an absolute gem and easily one of my favorite dining experiences in the area. From the moment you walk in, everything feels thoughtful and welcoming. The first thing that stood out to me was the sparkling clean restaurant and the clean glassware and crisp, filtered water—a small detail that speaks volumes about how much care they put into the guest experience.
The portion sizes are incredibly generous for the price, making it feel like a true value without sacrificing quality. Every dish I tried is satisfying, flavorful, and clearly prepared with pride. You leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
What truly elevates Asian Yummy, though, is the exceptionally friendly service. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger. You’re treated like a valued guest, not just another table.
Clean, affordable, delicious, and welcoming—Asian Yummy hits every mark. If you’re in Knoxville and looking for a place that consistently delivers comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality, this spot is an absolute must. ✨

Asian Yummy was pretty good overall. The food was okay, but a couple things stood out. The fried noodles were more like lo mein — I’m used to fried noodles being ramen-style with a thicker, more flavorful sauce, so that part was a little disappointing. The sushi was served room temperature, which made me a bit nervous.
On the positive side, the restaurant was very clean inside, which I really appreciated. With a few tweaks to the food, this place could be even better.

A solid meal for a solid price! First off, we got an egg drop soup, not realizing that our entrees already came with one each, so that’s great value for the price. The soup is perfectly salty and keeps you coming back for more. Our entrees were decent, really just hit the spot for an easy Asian takeout spot. While not the best I’ve ever had, I really can’t voice any complaints. Also, high praise for the crab Rangoon as I’ve never seen the wonton wrapper and cream cheese have such a good ratio! Overall I do recommend this place for an easy, satisfying bite to eat.

Ordered take out – sushi rolls, hibachi, and pork rolls. The pork rolls were good. The hibachi was okay but small portions. The sushi was inedible. The salmon tasted like it had cleaner on it and the eel tasted like rotten fish. Called to complain about the sushi and they told us to drive back 20 minutes in the snow to return the sushi before they would refund it. Here’s a photo of it in the trash.

Nice Asian restaurant serving great food. I had the chicken fried rice and it was super tasty. It came with a soup and I got the hot and sour which was delicious. My girlfriend got the orange chicken which was also very good.
Our server was polite and attentive.
This is a great restaurant for dine in or carry out if you’re looking for some Asian food around Cedar Bluff!

This was an amazing dinner. The service was outstanding and the food was incredible. Our table had the fire roll, shrimp tempura roll, dumplings, beef pho, chicken fried rice, combination hibachi, and some pork bone soup. Chefs kiss on everything. No notes.

Best Asian in Knox. I think I’ve tried every Asian restaurant. Having been raised near China town, I’m biased and the bar is high. The beef fried rice is outstanding. The General Zhao’s was fresh and impeccably cooked (a great relief from other restaurants frozen and fried chicken). The chicken lo mein was very flavorful (a little light on the chicken). Egg rolls were standard. Portions are huge and each entree comes with soup. Each entree is 3 meals! Egg drop soup has actual flavor and is fresh!
Enjoy!
I highly recommend!

General Tsos Tofu is my absolute favorite. Please try it.
But I’ve had many different dishes all amazing. Soups are delicious. Noodles yummy. And sushi is fresh.
Mad that I didn’t find out about it sooner.
