Fantastic American Chinese option! $8.99 for a lunch plate (I had Sesame chicken), and delicious crab rangoons! In the ssame store as pokeloha, so great for multiple options too!

My chicken dish was a hot mess and I think they served me rubber chicken.

So this was my first time here today, why I gave it the three star. I tried the general tso and a beef and broccoli also looking at the previous reviews I also order the beef and garlic sauce just to taste the variety. It was ok, the vegetables were sliced not cut, kinda hard to put inch and a half sliced bell pepper and carrot in your mouth. The beef and broccoli and beef w/garlic sauce was cooked perfect not chewy,the general tso was average the batter around the chicken was hard but after a couple of jaw breaking chews I got to the chicken. The area was very clean and up kept very surprised being located in a college town, but the soda machine broke so was made with the choice of $2 soda or water I chose the water from the machine assumed it was cold, Not… warm no ice. All- n all it was average.

Hands down the best Asian American food I’ve had since moving to Lawrence. Fried rice was fresh and had that wok hei flavor you’d want in rice. The sesame chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and delicious! Not too much sauce, and not too sweet either. And the egg roll was phenomenal. The most surprising part was the portion which is almost as much as what my wife and I would eat together. I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu.

Amazing food! My family has some things we’re picky about (like Crab Rangoons and egg rolls) and we loved everything! My son who hates mushrooms said their mushrooms were delicious! We will order from them again! The order was correct and everything was wonderful! The veggies still have some crispness and their own flavors, making them so much better than the typical soggy ones you get in many Asian cuisines!!

The service was great – kind, quick, helpful! The restaurant was clean and cool. The food was hot and cooked well but quite bland. We went home and added sauces to each of the menu items we purchased. Don’t be afraid to add more flavor, heat!

I’ve tried this place four times since it opened a couple years ago. I keep coming back hoping that it gets better because we desperately need a quick Asian restaurant on Mass, but have always been disappointed afterwards. The bottom line is that the meat (or the method it is cooked) just needs to be better. For example, today I got a meal that was breaded/fried chicken, but it was slimy and the chicken had no texture. I want to see this place succeed!

asian wok is awesome. consistently the best classic chinese food you can get in lawrence. i’m gluten free and they make me the best noodles literally ever. i love asian wok. come here hungover on a rainy day and thank me later. ps the duck sauce is so good.
