This was supposed to be chicken chow mein, but it was nothing like chow mein. The chicken was bland and there were very few noodles, consisted mainly of onions. It tasted plain and unseasoned and didn’t match what was advertised. I wouldn’t order this dish again.

Very pretty decor. It’s nice to see almond cookies for sale at the counter.

I was really excited for vegetarian Malaysian food, especially the kwachic. It was good, but more like seitan bignets in an orange sauce. Would have liked more spice. They brought out some chili oil when I requested it hotter. The chili oil was good, but not very spicy.

The younger staff seemed very caught up in their personal conversation and shooting me weird looks after I took a seat. I was served by an older lady with an incredible voice. I was glad to have a quiet dinner by myself.

I’m very glad that there are so many vegetarian options here. I will be back next time I’m in town.

Large portions, amazing taste, and fast and friendly service! There was no wait, and our server was quick and friendly! We got the large egg drop soup for 4.99 and it was enough for 4. The crab Rangoons were to die for. The sweet and sour chicken and chow mein were both large proportions and very delicious. Definitely worth going to if you’re in the mood for Asian food.

This has become our go to “take out” Chinese. I have eaten in alone and with friends and felt a little rushed. For takeout though-it’s perfect. Great price and service, no complaints on quantity. My go to has become the garlic eggplant and shrimp with spring rolls. I’ve also really enjoyed veggie pad Thai, coconut kwachick, and vegetarian delight. I love the almond cookies!

Excellent food and attentive service. I may have just found the best coconut shrimp dish in town. I am very happy with my decision to grab a quick bite here recently.

02/15/2026: Don’t waste your time or money here! The food is bland and tasteless, but the service is even worse. The waiter was beyond rude. He snatched away our drinks and unfinished plates, then literally threw the receipt at my father-in-law. They even charged a tip for this ‘service.’ The receptionist couldn’t be bothered to look up from her phone to say goodbye. Truly the worst experience I’ve had at a Chinese restaurant!!!!!!!!

First time visiting Asian Wind was tonight and we ordered take-out. Unfortunately this restaurant is not, I our opinion of good value. I really dislike when restaurants shortchange takeout orders hoping. customers won’t complain, and perhaps that was the case here.

One of the dishes ordered was a quart of wonton soup. While the broth was plentiful, the soup included only three wonton, tough to split as a soup course for two.

This was disappointing as in Lexingtons densely populated restaurant market, at least meeting the baseline would ensure repeat business.

The worst experience I have ever had here. The wait staff was rude and the food was horrible. I have never had Hawaiian chicken that was battered. They never came back to the table, refilled our drinks and I had to see them out to get our check. Don’t waste your money here.

Got the vegetarian Sesame Kwachi. No spice, but tasted way too sweet. Portion size is large. Could have more rice on the side. Staff is very friendly. Toilets are clean. No obnoxiously loud music. Waiting time was short. Can recommend

I’ve been a customer for 20 years plus. I hate leaving a negative review but I tried to address it with them over the phone but it wasn’t resolved satisfactorily. Instead of the vegetarian kwachik that we ordered (and was on receipt), they gave us chicken. My vegetarian daughter recognized after taking a bite of. Rather than refunding the item they expected us to turn around and return to the restaurant (their policy) even though we were at home 20 minutes away or return the next day with the item. In addition, the other item we ordered was inedible. If they had just refunded the $11 for the vegetarian meal they would not have lost a long term customer.

In response to your answer, you didn’t find any order for orange chicken because we DIDN’T ORDER Orange chicken!!! We ordered orange kwachik. Own up to your mistake.
