Had reservations on 12/24 at another local Chinese restaurant which was not going well and really no confidence we were ever going to order or get served. A member of our party called Asian Taste who said they were open until 9 pm and had a table for us.
Got there and everything was great. Had a table for us and food was incredible. Saved our Christmas Eve night out. Will certainly come back and will now be our go to for Chinese cuisine.

I have been back many times since my last post and disappointingly tried other Chinese restaurants in town but, NONE are near to Asian Taste! I absolutely love this little place!

As you can probably tell by now this is my favorite Chinese joint! Today I had Mongolian chicken and beef and shrimp combination with fried rice, picture included! Absolutely delicious I’ve never had anything I didn’t really care for here ever! Everything I try is fresh and delicious and just cook perfectly seasoned perfectly I just love this place!

The dine in restaurant is back! What a difference! The carryout has been delicious for nearly 3 years, but today I ate fresh from the kitchen in the restaurant at a table! It was so good! Eating that fresh from the kitchen is so much better! I’m so glad they opened the restaurant again to seating.
This place has some of the best Wor Su Gai I have ever had! Fast friendly service.

Went for Lunar New Year. Luckily we got there early. Things got really busy especially the to go orders. Service was attentive and we got food quickly. Food was flavorful and we will be going back. Not much to say about the dining area except it was clean and comfortable.

I ordered to go and the restaurant was very clean from what I could see and the customer service was really great. The lady was super nice. But I just didn’t like my food I ordered Generals Tso’s Chicken and it was wayyyyy too sweet for my liking. Not as spicy as I would’ve liked and it had a weird background flavor that I could taste with every bite. And the fried rice is just rice…. No veggies., for what i paid for I was very disappointed in my food.

I just moved down the street from this place and came in for lunch yesterday. The place was very clean, light and airy. It wasn’t busy around 2 pm on a Thursday but the music they play was like meditation and peaceful. I notice they spoke Cantonese and I asked if they make this Hong Kong style dish and they have it on the menu. “Cantonese style chow fun with beef” It’s a childhood favorite comfort dish and depends on the restaurant it’s a hit or miss but they def hit the spot! They also gave me a secret Chinese menu which is separate from the main menu that caters more to the Chinese taste buds. So now I have to try it all. The price was good and the portion was great. I had left overs that I reheated for dinner and it was still good. Glad it’s down the street from me when I am feeling lazy and don’t want to cook. ☺️

In a city of mediocre Chinese restaurants Asian Taste stands among very few at the top. This simple unassuming spot has a traditional menu if you ask for it with unique specialty dishes. I lunch there frequently and the hostess, waitress, cashier all wrapped into one person is a very sweet and efficient representative. Living in Columbus has its challenges, Asian Taste is always a delight.
