I called for a to go order that cost $70 and spoke to Tony. I verified what the Fried Wonton would be before I ordered it. It was not what he said they were deep fried pork nuggets, and just full of grease. I also asked about the Tempura shrimp. It was so soggy, and when you picked it up, the shrimp limped over in your hand. The Foil Wrapped Chicken was nothing but little chicken pieces that taste like frozen diced chicken soaked in vinegar. The Mongolian Beef was supposed to come with fried rice(an extra $1 charge)and there was none. The egg drop soup smelled of perfume or soap. We tried a teaspoon each. It had absolutely no flavor at all. The only thing that was edible was the small order of noodles. I called and Steven answered and said he was the manager. When I told him about my order all he would say was “hmmm and thanks for telling me.” I asked him if he was going to try and make it right. He wouldn’t say anything but thanks for telling me. We should of ordered from. SAKURA! Asian Star has really gone down hill and we will NEVER BE BACK!

Was rudely told wait for my Togo order that was actually ready but the server had no clue what she was doing. When I finally got my order of Chicken Egg Foo Young and got home to Golden Valley it was disgusting Curry Chicken. When I called to complain and get the correct order delivered I was met with arguments that I was wrong and they do theirs different. I have ordered it from there 3 x prior to this. Im not an idiot I know what it looks like and this isn’t it! Expected me to come back there. When they finally agreed to deliver it was too late it was going to be an hour! Ruined Christmas Eve. And now can never go back. RUINED!!!!

I recently moved to Kingman and decided to try Asian Star. My order total was 60.88 as shown in picture. Garden Sizzling Platter indicated spicy on menu no spice at all and portion size an average to go box definitely not worth 20.95 not even in the slightest. General Tso’s chicken indicated spicy as General Tso’s usual is no spice whatsoever tasted more like sweet and sour chicken once again average size to go box for 15.95 not worth 15.95 at all. What they call “Egg Rolls” were spring rolls no meat all vegetables and not very flavorful. Was given one box of pork fried rice for 2 people not much pork in it. Egg flower soup 8.95 was overpriced but tasted OK. Will not return Highly disappointed. I will stick with Panda Express better tasting quality and not overpriced for what I get.

Tonight, we tried Asian Star! Our server Ray was very nice and checked on us during our meal. The soup was fantastic! The dishes were good. I just wish the broccoli was cooked more. Other than that… everything was very good. We will definitely come back!

This restaurant’s kitchen hygiene is very poor. I personally witnessed more than once that food dropped on the floor was picked up and put back without being properly cleaned. Because the owner has a very bad temper, employees are afraid to do anything “extra” or follow basic safety steps.
I also saw employees get yelled at harshly for throwing away spoiled, smelly meat. The owner said it was “wasting food” and told them to marinate it with seasoning to cover the smell. I strongly do not recommend this place.

Wow, what a great place! I don’t know why there has been bad reviews as I and my husband had no complaints whatsoever. The place is clean and has a pleasant environment and the food is delicious! The lunch menu is nice as you get your choice of soup and an eggroll with your entree. You get a generous portion as you can see in the picture.
They recently added a sushi bar that looks really good. We’re going to try that next as we’ve heard good things about it. It’s in a separate room and looks very nice.

We ordered the duck appetizer at 26 bucks it was over cooked and rubbery. The manager would not rectify that and we still had to pay a 100 bill. The server Bri was amazing and sweet she apologized about a dozen times. Management sucks

Ordered through Uber eats .. ordered Sweet and sour chicken with “sauce in Side” two words meaning a side .. Apparently that wasn’t clear and my chicken was soggy and soaked in way too much sauce. Wasted money….
Ordered Chow Fun… Got some sort of thing stringy noodle. Chow Fun is a wide flat rice noodle that is in a soy or oyster sauce. Tried it and no flavor at all. Looks and tastes like boiled noodles tossed in a wok and add meat and veg… Another waste of money

No soy sauce or any thing for flavor in the bag except the puddle of sweet and sour sauce on my chicken.
I am only in town for Christmas due to work obligations and I am now walking to Sonic to get edible food.

Enjoyed a birthday lunch here yesterday. And wow! The meals were absolutely delicious. We tried the shrimp & vegetables, and the sweet & sour chicken. Both excellent. The shrimp were plump and abundant and the white garlic sauce perfect . I also appreciated the perfectly spiced hot & sour soup. It’s a treat to find such great Chinese food in the desert. The chef is truly talented and the recipes seem authentic.
I only wish they had some A/C running or better fans. But I guess most people are used to the heat!

Steven and Brie are amazing. They have practically memorized us at this point. The owner actually made my jalepeno tempura tonight and when I say it was THE BOMB, oh my goodness, light, crispy, all the mouthwatering deliciousness a person could need. My fiancé and I love to play games when we’re at restaurants and the servers here always find it so fun. I think this is the perfect place to go when you’re wanting something hearty and delicious or if you’re wanting refreshing spice. I got the Chicken Mi Fun and it was perfectly spiced and seasoned. Again I got the jalepeno tempura and since the sushi chef happened to be out today we also got the combo fried rice. Every item was made perfectly to our standards. It wasn’t super busy tonight sadly but I will say that we didn’t have to ask for refills a single time. 10/10, always coming back.
