Once every year my wife and I drive out west to visit family and friends and then return. We always stop in Marion, IL as it is perfectly situated for us to stay here after a day of driving. So heading out and returning we have discovered this restaurant. We love the General Tso’s chicken here! It is a family owned place and do not be surprised if one of the kids takes your payment as they help out in the restaurant. The reason we love the Tso’s chicken here is that they use big nice chunks of chicken breast. There is no fat, no gristle and the sauce is perfectly balanced with a bit of sweet and a bit of heat. Most places we get Gen. Tso’s chicken tend to use cheap meat and it feels like the fried batter is what you end up eating. Here it is the opposite. you feel like your getting mostly meat. Also the fried rice is really tasty with lots of different vegetables in it. The crab rangoons are great and are actually filled with stuff, again not just fried batter. Every year we come through we hope they don’t change anything and so far so good we love it!

This restaurant has it all. Extremely clean, from the silverware to the rest rooms. And to top it off, the food was SO fresh and prepared like all meals should be – with care and love. We will be back! Great job everyone!!!

Loved this place! I was really craving some Asian food while we were on break in Marion, so I googled it up and we walked a lil more than a mile to get there and it was so worth the trip! We were greated and seated by cutest little host. Our waitress was on point! Wish I would have got her name cause she was very attentive, and I would so recommend her as your waitress. Servings were big, food was hot and fresh. If we ever roll thru this city again I will most definitely be stopping by again! I love good food and good service!

Ordered for first time on Christmas evening. Wow. The best Tofu we have ever had, and we eat a lot of tofu. In addition, everything we ordered for 6 people was excellent. Check it out, and I know we will be again.

I drove from Carbondale to get this, and it was so worth it!!!! Ordered the shrimp fried rice, Singapore noodles and twice cooked pork great portions and the flavor is on point. The fried rice is actually wok fried not the yellow rice I have gotten elsewhere. Thank you for the great food.

Much like other reviews state, I was passing through and wanted something other than the chain restaurants that are prevalent in the area. Took a chance on this place and I tend to test Chinese takeout spots by ordering shrimp fried rice, maybe a chicken dish, and dumplings – I got the shrimp fried rice and fried dumplings to go around lunchtime.
The shrimp fried rice was some of the best fried rice I’ve had across many cities and states in the country, full of flavor. The fried dumplings were fresh, you could taste the garlic and scallions within each dumpling and it came with sauce for you to dip.
While I only ordered takeout, the ambiance of the place leaves much to be desired – it’s in a small, nondescript strip mall, and inside, the bar space to the right is entirely out of service, and the tables and chairs in the seating area to the left are serviceable. My guess is that it’s largely for takeout but I wouldn’t mind eating in if I had more time to sit and it was just me and a close friend who wouldn’t mind.
I’d eat here again!

Glad to have found this restaurant on our road trip! Our food was super good and all of the ingredients were super fresh. What a nice surprise! We tried crab ragoon, hot n sour soup, gen. tso’s chicken, fried rice, and hunan beef. All were great.
The chicken was very meaty and even seemed to be fresh, lightly breaded chicken breast. Much better than what I find most places!

My family and I have eaten here a few times since moving to Southern Illinois. I love the atmosphere, the food is always fresh and tasty, and I never leave disappointed. I also love that they are family owned, and incorporate their family into the business. Will definitely be going back. Some of the best chinese Southern Illinois has to offer!

Placed an online order as soon as they opened from their website. Was given a pickup time of 11:45. When I arrived not only did they have a child who was CLEARLY too young to be working the cash register, and I was told that my order would be a few more minutes. I finally received my order at 12:06, 20 minutes after my scheduled pickup. They had not even started on it before my pickup time. Terrible service.
