I truly could not believe how good this duck was from a grocery store. 99 ranch does it best!!! The duck was flavorful and crispy but I was disappointed that it was cold. We also got the beef soup and that was just OK. They ran out of wontons which was what I really wanted.

A FOODIE’S UNEXPECTEDLY DELIGHTFUL TAKEAWAY FOR AUTHENTIC HONGKONGNESE ROASTS . It truly brings back back fond memories of HKG, a city known for its culinary and gustatory traditions.
This a rather large kitchen and food serving counter inside a popular Asian supermarket. Everything is cooked on site .
It’s rather fun to see piping hot foods come out of the kitchen and displayed on the serving counters .
The menus are on boards above the counters. Foods include DimSum-style bites (dumplings, spareribs, soups); Various ready cooked sautés and stir fries; Noodles and the Roasts.
The roasts are spectacular selections of Duck, Chicken and Pork. Notably, they are HKG-style.
Indeed, there are 3 preparations of Roast Duck, very much like HKG. Any one of the 3 are fantastic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️They are perfectly cooked, tender and super moist. The flavor is UNMISTAKABLY CANTONESE .
***Whole duck is very very reasonably priced, in fact on the lower side compared to any restaurant OR a whole uncooked duck.
Veggie sautés are excellent. We love the Chinese broccoli and the Eggplant. Both are very simply seasoned that one can actually savor their natural Umami flavors.
The service staff are very amiable .
