Big foodie critic, first time visit. I showed up an hour before close. Place was clean and quite with the tv on an American station (not like the station matters..). Halfway to the counter I was greeted with a smile accompanyied by “hi how are you?” from a young lady behind the counter. She took my order and told me it would be 10 minutes. I received my food in 5, the bag was hot to the touch. I had the general tsao chicken with white rice and egg roll. The portions were nicely sized. When I took the first bite, I was pleasantly surprised!!! The chicken was all white meat and not overcooked or stringy like most other places. The rice was fresh and cooked perfectly. I’m not sure what the other reviews were about, but this place serves the best Chinese this side of the river! I’m so glad I found this hidden gem!

Terrible service. We walked in and the young man working there visibly looked annoyed that we were dinning in. We had to just seat ourselves. I asked if they had iced tea, which he said they did not by just kind of grunting. The menu said they did. He gave us menus and never came back. I had to seek him out and found him crouched behind the counter looking at his phone. The food was good but not great (see photos). After several more guests came in, a lady working in the back started to yell at the young man for several minutes. She also came out every few minutes yelling out names of take out orders even though no one was standing there waiting for take out. She was extremely loud and this killed the dinning experience and mood. Also, one restroom was out of order and the other had strange signage (see photos). I’ll never go back to this place.

Disappointed! I’ve ordered from this restaurant a lot over the years. Today I placed an online order and arriving home thought I got the wrong order since the online menu see Pic says “Empress chicken” no spicy symbol on the online menu. When I called the store, she the assumed owner raised her voice with me. Maybe yelling at a customer works in her world but it doesn’t in mine. In my world we treat people with respect.
Sad this was my kids favorite takeout asian restaurant. Time to find a new one.

The food is really 4.7 There is a TV which was showing the news. Music from Asia would have been better. It was clean. People from Asia do not make much eye contact (too much is seen as rude there.) or smile unless truly pleased. As long as you know that, you will understand that they are giving good service. It’s just not American, Warm, fuzzy service. It’s the real, Asian deal. I would return.

Customer service is crap. Called in a order and the child taking the order didn’t ask for name or number(wife called and its 2024 nobody remembers numbers). When I entered the store the child asked for a number. I said nobody asked for a name or number but I ordered and before I could finish telling him what I ordered he decides to yell at me and say NUMBER! I was heated after that your a child for one your not going to yell at me and for two it’s not very good customer service. Foods not bad but I got charged for extra chicken I asked for but didn’t get the extra part of the chicken I ordered. Wont be making this mistake again.

This is one of the most interesting restaurants I’ve been to. The person to place my order with literally could not answer basic questions about dishes. He called a young lady out. She too could not answer questions. Both of them acted like I was a bother to simply ask how something was prepared. They then called a 3rd person out. She was a tad better but I left in frustration. I doubt if they will b in business long which is sad because they have been around for years.

The food was just okay but my group and my main problem was the disappointing staff. The server couldn’t answer basic questions about food and portion size. They were not friendly and did not make us feel comfortable to be there. The restaurant also doesn’t serve sushi anymore but the pictures and name are very misleading.
