This was our 2nd time getting takeout, since we don’t live in the area.The first time everything was quite good, although a bit more expensive than other places. I wish this experience was just as good, but unfortunately it wasn’t. We ordered in person, 2 large dishes (moo goo gai pan & moo shu pork both with white rice), a large soup, crab rangoon & 2 egg rolls. It came to just over $43 & we tipped $5 cash at pick up. There wasn’t a receipt on the bag or given to me.
I unfortunately did not check the bag before heading home.
The crab rangoon was lacking flavor – tasted of only cream cheese, which was coming out of the tops of each. We were missing 1 of the large entrées (moo goo gai pan and both egg rolls – so I can’t comment on that. There was a lot of sauce that leaked in the bottom of the bag. I’m glad there was plastic over the paper bag, bc my car seat would have been ruined. The 1 dish we did receive, moo shu pork, was very greasy, but the sauce on the side was very good. The wonton soup was a bit salty, but still good.
I did end up calling to inform them, but changed my mind and hug up as it was ringing. They called back (which suprised me) & I let them know of the missing items. They said they’d look into it and call back. They quickly did and offered to make it right via store credit or delivery. Since we live over an hour away, we declined both. I was impressed with how they handled it. Their customer service is excellent! Maybe this was just a 1 off situation. In any event, just check your bag before leaving to avoid any mishaps.

My favorite food place near me, food is incredibly good and always generous portions, hot, and incredibly flavorful, they put all the other places nearby to shame in every category. It’s fast food prices for restaurant quality food. Rarely is there a wait, and if you show up they have it out quickly and are all super nice and gracious and i do believe it is family owned. I actually didn’t realize quiet how much better they were than everyone else until one Monday (the day they are closed) i got food from another chain Asian food place down the street and the flavor, quality, everything was so much worse. 10/10 always recommend this place to everyone i know, anyone who says anything negative hasn’t tried it, or had a unfortunate singular bad experience. Been here dozens of times.

The food was too salty to enjoy and the shrimp did not taste fresh. I wasn’t feeling well and wanted soup. The wonton soup was almost too salty to eat. The shrimp lo mein was ok except for the shrimp in it. I had to pick them out as they did not taste fresh. I ended up throwing it away because I didn’t want to take a chance that it would still be ok to eat the next day. I did want to like it as hop hing gets very busy and closes on tuesdays but I won’t order again.

Got an order of sesame chicken for lunch via doordash online order and I gotta say this is pretty spectacular for a $7 meal. I live in Seattle, and you will never be able to find any meal of such value over there. Quality is pretty solid and what you’d expect of chinese takeout!

Food quality has gone down hill over the years. Last nights dinner was extremely salty and not just one dish. The wonton soup, general tso’s chicken, rice and the dumplings were all salty and disappointing. If the fortune cookie wasn’t wrapped in cellophane I’m sure they would’ve salted it too. Excessive amounts of salt.

General Tso’s chicken lunch. Sauce is thick and sugary, with some hot oil incorporated into it. Gives some heat to the dish that might not be expected.

Asian Grill….. Is/has by far the best Chinese food anywhere…my family and I been eatng their food for years!!!!! Love, love, love them, I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!! DELISH
