My second time trying the food here. Their hibachi doesn’t taste like the hibachi I’m used to it’s very saucy and no sweet carrots you got to have that if you’re serving hibachi. Also if you’re going to sell crab rangoon actually put crab and green onion in it. Or just call them cheese wontons and sell them cheaper because they are definitely not crab Rangoon. It’s definitely more pricey than other Chinese restaurants and not very authentic to me. Also we had to go back because our wings wasn’t put in the bag.

Good, not great. Pretty run of the mill Americanized Chinese food. Portion size was acceptable. Food wasn’t overly flavorful but again, acceptable.
The restaurant seemed clean but very basic.
Staff at the counter was helpful but not overly friendly.
I think a 3 out of 5 stars is about right, this was an ok experience.

INCREDIBLE Chinese food spot! Absolutely delicious food, huge variety on the menu, and run by some of the kindest people! All the food was prepared incredibly well, flavour was spectacular, everything was high quality! The steamed fish was absolutely delicious, so much flavour and so clean! The orange chicken and Mongolian chicken were packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and made me so happy! The stirfry noodles were incredible as well, I loved the addition of mushrooms and shrimp! They didn’t feel too heavy, they weren’t super oily either! It was just perfect! This is by far my favourite restaurant in the area! I highly recommend this place!!! The service is incredibly quick, the staff and employees are very kind and always greet you with a smile, it is family-run and they are incredibly hardworking so you should definitely come and support this business!

The portions were good but we had 8 people have meals and only 1 of us were happy with the flavor and quality of food. All of us that had fried rice were disappointed how undercooked and flavorless it was. Al dente rice isn’t something you want in Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken had weird prices that pieces that were both hard and soggy inside. The pepper steak had a very small amount of actual meat and the picture shows how much onions and peppers were there even though the comments requested no onion.

We ordered general chicken, sweet and sour chicken. Crab Rangoon, vegetable lo main and egg rolls.
Crab Rangoon-6.5/10- very cream cheese forward, it was semi sweet, not the best and not the worst.
General- 7/10 wasnt giving general, it taste like good fried chicken with a sweet brown sauce, wasnt spicy.
Sweet and sour- 8/10 I mean it’s a basic dish.
Vegetable lo main- 7/10
Chicken egg roll-8/10 would definitely order this again.

We have been going here since we moved to Waxhaw in 2021. We have never had a bad meal. We ask for a lot of “changes” to be made to our dishes, and they are always accommodated.
The female owner will always personally come out and ask you how your food is. If we were just a bit unhappy she will take it back and redo it.
I can’t get enough of the crab rangoons, my husband loves the chicken wings (although sometimes when I taste them they are a little dry).
I get the hibachi steak dinner, and it comes with a salad, but there is no ranch dressing. Only ginger. I would ask that they start carrying ranch for people who don’t like ginger dressing.
We hardly ever leave with leftovers- it’s that good. Portions are amazingly large, and you get what you pay for!
10/10 I would recommend anyone go there. You wont be disappointed.

Please do not assume that their fried rice will have vegetables in it. We spent $60 and with two of the entrées. We chose fried rice and it was rice with a brown tint to it. No egg and no vegetables! I’m sorry, but this place is not worth the money and they Are a little shady on what they have on their menu. Who offers fried rice and doesn’t put egg and vegetables in it? So disappointed. The fried rice is my favorite and I just cannot believe how bland and boring it was. Every other place we have ordered from has been amazing with their fried rice. Their service is good but the price for what you get is definitely not. Just my opinion though….unfortunately, we will have to go to Koumi in Monroe from now on even though it’s out-of-the-way. Do better Asian Grill! You guys are super nice, but you have got to step it up on the food! Maybe there are other people who don’t care about the fried rice but it’s one of the main reasons I love Asian food.

This is consistently the best Asian / Chinese restaurant in Waxhaw, without question. It’s clean, great little dining area, and quick and friendly service. The food is always top-notch!

Im just mad at myself for not trying this place sooner! I totally judged a book by the cover and didn’t think it was going to be anything special but I was wrong. It was delicious and fresh and as a native NYer who knows good Chinese takeout I can say this is some really amazing food. A little on the pricy side but all portions were big and packed well. My normally very picky 4 year old loved the sesame chicken which was made with white lean chicken and not overly breaded. Fried rice was seasoned well and not overly oily. I’m in Wesley Chapel area but will be making the drive to pick up take out from here going forward!
I also will say I normally never tip more than a few bucks for pick up but the service when I walked in was so good that I tipped 20%. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and made sure to confirm what I ordered matched what was in the bag. She was very friendly. The wait staff also all said hello. It seems like a nice friendly team of people which I always appreciate.
