We were pleasantly surprised to see the entrance was accessible.
The place looked clean with plenty of seating. The server was friendly & the order came out within a reasonable time.
When the dishes arrived, presentation was good. The food wast warm & tasty. One dish out of the 2 was a good portion size.
The atmosphere was average & seating was decent.
Handicapped accessibility stopped at the entrance as the restroom was unable to accommodate a wheelchair which was a disappointment.
We ordered the rainbow roll which I did not photograph but wish I had. Beautiful presentation and very fresh tasting, the tuna, the salmon and crab with avocado. So very good!
We also ordered the hibachi combos. I had the steak and shrimp which came so presentable with the most perfectly steamed vegetables too. The quality of food and presentation was amazing and we were all left wanting this restaurant to pick up and move to westchester. What a gem of a place!
I would recommend for catering a party or event. Thank you Asian Garden!
I could hav almost lost my partner today to the carless terrible Asian Garden. I called the restaurant and ordered food telling them I had a nut allergy. They put sauce in an unlabeled container mixed in with all the food. When my partner had ate the food, it tasted immediately peanut flavor. I called to ask them what was in it and they told me peanuts and said they had written it down there was an allergy that’s what they put it on the side. (Important to note the food we ordered does not usually include nuts) We had to rush to get them their epi pen and Benadryl to make sure they didn’t go into anaphylaxis . After an hour I called back asking for a refund because all the food was contaminated and we had throw it out for safety reasons. They argued with me saying only one of the item i ordered would not have peanuts, not acknowledging that they put it in an UNMARKED container mixed in the bag of food.
The OWNER argued with me after I said they they could have almost killed somebody today and they responded with that they were okay with attempted murder because they had insurance and refused to give me a full refund unless i brought the food back. They said they couldn’t “trust me” that i didn’t eat the food. They also claimed i threatened them and would call the police when i said i would sue them if they didn’t give me the full refund like promised. So i had to gather the food from the trash and brought it back to the place where they took it all apart ONE BY ONE like they were TSA “to make sure everything was there” before reluctantly giving me my money back and did not even apologize.
This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had a restaurant. I use to love going there and even use to recommend it to people but seeing how they don’t care about how they treat their customers is very telling especially when they make a mistake. Do not go!
Wish i could it give it less than one.
(Also i asked for no onions in the non peanut order and they still added it in the order so of course we didn’t trust the food)
