I’ve had worse and I’ve had better. I was really excited to try this place as the reviews looked promising. It was easy to place my order and easy to pick up. I was not offered soup with my lunch combo as their menu says, I was just given an egg roll. When I got my food home it looked delicious. But the key word here is looked. I ordered chicken teriyaki which was bland. The “fried rice” was simply brown rice and not the traditional fried rice with egg and veggies. I had to add my own teriyaki sauce from home to give the meal flavor. On the plus side, the Krab Rangoon was delicious. I will always give a restaurant two tries. So I will try this place again hopefully with a better outcome.

I tried this place (very hesitantly) after receiving the “under new management” menu in the mail. I have been very disappointed with other Chinese food restaurants in my area, but have to say I was pleasantly surprised! We had Mei Fun (cooked very well, not greasy at all), Steam Dumplings (very good, dough could have been a bit more firm, but delicious), Roast Pork with Scallions (loved this!! Not a fan of green peppers but in this dish they were so thin it was tolerable), and Wonton Soup (actually tastes like Wonton soup). We will definitely order from here again without a doubt! Thank you to Asian Express for providing good quality food and service. You have gained a repeat customer! Let’s hope nothing changes over time…

It’s a Chinese small restaurant that had variety of dishes. The ramen my family and I ate was alright, better than Lucky’s Market for sure. It’s probably a place I would come to if we’re hungry and we are passing by. The Ichimen Ramen that I had was better than the other two ramens that my family had, the midnight and miso ramen. Definitely needed salt and could’ve added other stuff. Though for a $7 ramen, it was good. The lady was good service.

NEW OWNERS, sad to say it, but I ordered my favorite Hibachi Steak dinner recently and when I picked it up, I received the new Beef and veggies with a carton of fried rice and an egg roll. It WAS soooo much better than makotos for such a better price and NOW, its just another chinese restaurant who didnt even cook the rice thoroughly. I am sad – they don’t even have ramen anymore either…

They have new owners and I’ve been here a few times since it’s near my house. The food tastes like your typical Chinese take out. Nothing special to go out of your way for. But I just noticed today that they charge $1 extra for you to use your card which they DONT tell you. $1 is nothing but it’s the principle..it really pi*ses me off when businesses do this and don’t tell you. I also noticed today that on their menu, the lunch special comes with egg roll OR soup. When I asked over the phone he told me only the egg roll comes with it. It wasn’t til I got home I read the menu that they had put in my bag. If he was honest I wouldn’t have had to buy a soup. And toss the egg roll I never eat. Shady business here that doesn’t deserve my money

The lunch menu is not posted on the website so I called in my order. The first phone number was not a working line.I was able to get a person on the second number. So I ordered cashew chicken with white rice and egg drop soup. When I got home, I found they had given me fried rice rather than white rice. The soup was so watered down it didn’t taste like chicken broth. I will not return.

I tried this place because the menu was in my mailbox. I was very reluctant because the Chinese food in my area is TERRIBLE. I was very surprised by this place! I had the Hunan Chicken. It was very tasty and not too spicy. I loved the sauce and the vegetables were fresh. Will try other dishes from here.

I haven’t eaten my lunch yet BUT I came here for Poke bc it’s in the name. They dont have Poke! Only Chinese dishes and 3 sushi rolls.
