Picked all chicken items! Arrived at 2pm -on a Tuesday – all meat was Hard and chewy and overcooked due to warmers!!!
Don’t order until you know it was recently cooked!!! Very disappointed!! Got 8 scoops and even my teens were complaining!!!

Cafeteria style Asian cuisine for $1.80 per scoop. Nice size portions. I had some lomein noodles, bourbon chicken and chicken broccoli. My bill was $6.88 with a $1 tip. Food was very tasty. I cleaned my plate. Super affordable. Will be back when in the neighborhood.

Stopped by here today for the first time after leaving the hospital with my mom. Bought three dinners, 2 can sodas and a sweet tea all for $26! Can’t beat that price. I was surprised. Very affordable place to grab lunch or dinner. I know everyone is looking for affordable eats these days. Here is a good option. They have a buffet, think like in the mall and you just tell them what you want and they put in tray. Plain and simple. No frills. The staff was respectful and nice. On a budget, give this place a try!

Good quality, decent, real food for extremely low cost. $1.60 per serving. Personally, I am addicted to their Hot and Sour soup. Lg takes me the day to finish, it’s packed with veggies and tofu, for $5. I prefer the pork egg roll over the spring rolls. My guy LOVES the chicken with broccoli. For me, it’s a little too much soy sauce, but, I have developed an aversion to salt, so I believe that’s just me. I like their sesame chicken, and seafood medley. And, I need to try the rest. I had a Bella mushroom chicken that I enjoyed. They don’t skimp on meat or mushrooms. Chicken and broccoli is about 1/2 and 1/2, half chicken, half lightly steamed broccoli. For the price, I HIGHLY recommend this place.

My sister Tammy Hughes and I went there for dinner and we were not aware of the price change. The typed of note was so small we did not see it. When we went to check out we were surprised with the cost so we asked. The cashier was so rude and asked if we could read. She was very disrespectful.. She just wanted to argue and keep saying can’t you read. We ended up leaving and went somewhere else to eat. As we were walking out we turned around and they were putting the food back in the warmers. That was very unsanitary. If I could rate this a 0 stars I would. We will not be going back.

Food always fresh and great value the people that work there are always friendly too never any hint of anger, irritation or any negative vibe. This is my go to place when in the area I’m use to rice being so greasy but their rice is the perfect consistency and not greasy.

Generally, small unassuming eateries have good food. This place is no exception. This is my standby spot when I haven’t cooked. The food tastes good and the price is cheap. A serving of each item is $1; you can’t beat that! Vegetarians and people with hypertension are not recommended to eat here but everyone else will enjoy the food at this restaurant. My favorite item on their menu is the mixed vegetables. It has broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, onions and celery in a broth. Very tasty!

Asian Express is located in Lawrenceville City of Gwinnett County right across Wal-Mart Supercenter. Each scoop is $1.75. If you’re paying with a card, there’s a minimum purchase of $5. The most affordable Chinese American restaurant I’ve come across. I can’t chow down like I used to because of my age and of high blood pressure. I bought a scoop of fried rice and sesame chicken & was more than enough to fill me up. It beats any fast food any day.

Pros: Descent food with descent prices. Cons: They don’t wear hair nets or gloves, Theirs a guy their that dishes out the food sometimes, for some reason he doesn’t give you a good amount of food (middle age asian guy).
