Excellent!! Loved just about everything. Thai papaya salad was perfectly balanced, a bit on the mild side. I don’t normally do fried rice, but the spicy garlic fried rice with beef was the best I ever had. So simple, so well done. The chili crisp at the table is top notch. Lao sausage was delicious and fresh. Pho was surprisingly anise-forward for the broth, and very tasty. Great textured noodles and plenty of beef. Forgot to take photos of everything cuz I was busy EATING! Server was so kind and upbeat. Bring sunglasses if it’s sunny – the windows are south facing with no shades. Very small dine-in space, mostly counter, so be aware.

I really wasn’t sure what authentic Laotian cuisine involved and tasted like, but I was very pleased with the food that I purchased. My goal was to have a healthy dinner and one that tasted good. I’ve learned a bit more about sticky rice, but what I really enjoy are the resh, aromatic herbs and vegetables.
I recommend the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and Cucumber Salad or Nam Khao Salad. Each one comes with a dipping sauce. Mine had a generous amount of crushed peanuts in the sauces. The Dumplings and Pork Skewers look fantastic and I plan to try them next time. Several people were picking up orders of curry, so I assume that they must be a popular dish here.
Take a look at my picture of the spring rolls; they are elegant with the shrimp being colorful and in row.
The staff were about to close by the time I found the restaurant and parked, but they were friendly people and had no problem preparing my food in the last 15 minutes of being open. I like how you can do take out, order and pick up, or dine in at one of the tables near the front window. They interior reflects their culture and has a nice cheerful décor.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge as it is right on a busy corner.

The place is so cute and the owner made us feel so welcomed. The food was FREAKING DELICIOUS! The papaya salad was the right kind of spicy and the Lao sausage sandwich is so tasty and plump. Drunken noddles were on point. Can’t forget about their dank cranberry cheese wontons. Literally the the food was fire and the service was quick. Please support this family ran restaurant. It’s worth it.

Delicious food! Had the red curry and pad thai. Note that the spice level as medium is quite spicy for those on the weaker end for spice. Delicious but spicier than I expected. Mild was perfect for the amount I prefer! Also the space was super cute and would love to come back if I’m in the area. The staff were super warm and welcoming.

The food was delicious, and the location is only a couple blocks from Minnehaha Falls so a great place to stop before/after. We got there right at opening so there wasn’t any wait for a table, but within a half hour they already had plenty of customers. Pricing is great for the portion sizes, I was only able to eat half my food and took the rest home. The owners are super sweet people, you can tell they serve with love and passion for their customers. We also had the Thai drink and it was super good, a tasty sweet treat! Definitely recommend!

My happiest discovery in southside. I’ve been looking for a good place for pad Thai near home. I may not stray from home as often anymore because this place is fantastic. Little cafe style store on 46th, with delicious food. Loved the pad Thai, fried rice and the Thai tea was very sweet and tasty. I highly recommend and endorse. Support local, ditch chains, southside!!!

I need to start with an apology – I attempted to cancel my online order because Zing, the online ordering platform, never provided confirmation that the order was processed. The restaurant called and assured my order was prepped and waiting for the driver to return for delivery. I’m happy that was the case – when the food did arrive, everything was fantastic! We will definitely be a return customer, and we’ll be stopping by to dine in soon as well.

Awesome food. It was very fresh and tasted amazing. The air is spicy in there and my eyes burned a little. I’m white though so I’m probably just weak. Parking is tough but I highly recommend going here. Probably in the top 5 Asian restaurants I’ve ever had.
