Some Thoughts
I’ve been eating here for years and the place is acceptable maybe 3 1/2 stars normally but the prices are good so I go back. Today I ordered it and it was five stars. There was a major change in the food quality and I’m not often pleasantly surprised, but it was really good. I ordered the hot and sour soup and I could tell right away that It was different than in the past. I also ordered Hunan chicken, which was also different from the past. The price is still very cheap compared to other restaurants. I will be going more often now with this improved quality. Great job improving without raising the prices not common these days.

Had OK takeout from there twice, the third time we thought we would try the sushi. We ordered a salmon roll and a yellowtail roll. The salmon roll was mediocre and lukewarm.
The yellowtail on the other hand was absolutely disgusting. When we got back with our takeout my girlfriend ate a piece without looking and said it tasted bad. Upon my inspection, the yellowtail fish inside the roll was brown and rotted. I have eaten a lot of sushi, just look at my other reviews, I’ve worked for two restaurants that serve sushi, and I have never seen fish that off. See my attached picture and judge for yourself. We took it back for a refund, and they tried to tell me that yellowtail always looks like that, an absolute blatant lie. Got my refund and left, never to return again. Wouldn’t eat here again simply based on my own safety. 2/5.

This place a few years back was a great buffet in the same center. That closed and they opened this tiny restaurant a few doors down in the same strip mall. I guess they couldn’t afford the big place. Anyway, the buffet was four star. Liked it a lot. Since becoming a tiny restaurant with no buffet, however, it’s not as good. I always like to give places more than one chance and I’ve given this place three chances and it’s always just “eh” anymore. A shame. That being said, it’s still better than the other place in town on Main Street. That’s a zero star kinda place. And the other saving grace of this place is a cozy, dim lighting atmosphere with nice furniture which I enjoy. But it’s still “eh” otherwise. If you want good Chinese food not too far, take the five minute drive to the next town over, Topton. The Panda is much better.

Asian cuisine used to be awesome. I stopped going a couple of years ago because the quality of the food was starting to decline. I thought I’d give it another try tonight. So sorry that I did. The food was not good at all. Couldn’t eat it . Who messes up chicken and broccoli. The egg rolls were burned and barely had anything in them. Old I suspect. The chicken looked and tasted like scraps from the carcus after Sunday dinner. Cartilage attached the scraps. Sauce was also burned. If I could give no stars I would. I will never go back
