This Aian Chao at this specific location deserves a zero for every category- food was bad: didnt taste fresh, didnt taste nowhere good at all, person behind counter was not openly rude but not was just flat/non-reactive. Ths food was so bad and a small black crawling bug was on the fried rice and he said it’s from the air, not the rice (which could or could not be true). I returned the food to him after a couple of bites and he just took it. I strongly recommend to avoid this Asian Chao

The man was rude, he was on the phone with a child and didn’t stand up or acknowledge me until he felt like it. (There was nobody else in line). He didn’t even say hello. The food tasted old and it was bearly 11a.m. I could not eat it. He handed me the drink and the cup was splattered with soda and he didn’t bother to wipe it. Then he was supposed to give me $7 and some cents back and he didn’t want to be bothered to give me the coins. I don’t know how they are still in business.

Don’t know if it was the manager but he seemed like the main guy there but anyways he was very rude and kept rushing me even though I was the only customer there. He kept making faces and not only that but the orange chicken was burnt to a crisp! I couldn’t even eat it and the rice was over cooked and tasted like grease. I would not recommend this place.

Cross Contamination.
The owner doesn’t speak English or Spanish, gave my fiancé shrimp on his food when he specifically asked not to because he is allergic. Owner did not know what we wanted and would not give us a refund or a new plate. Gave us $1 for us to leave, my fiancé could have gone to the hospital over this. He ordered nothing with shrimp in his food and still managed to find a whole shrimp mixed in the food the owner gave him.

Best Lo Mein and Buorbon Chicken in the RGV! The only thing is I got food poising after noticing that they poured a new batch of Lo Mein into the already used bowl of old Lo Mein and mixed it. I asked if that was safe to eat and they told me yes. I would still eat here again, the Lo Mein is the best in the RGV, but no to the cross contamination.

Small portion. The prices are reasonable but in comparison to the portion size and other asian restaurants for the same price you get a lot more at other places

I ate there for lunch today with a friend. The food tasted mediocre except for when we both bit into chunks of cartilage and fat that should’ve been removed. We both got FOOD POISONING. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
