Inside the River City casino and stays open unil 2am. The facility is very luxurious and beautifully decorated but the Food was just ok. We ordered General Tso’s chicken, Sweet and sour chicken, both came with sticky rice and crab Rangoon that were hard and cold and potstickers that seemed thin and flimsy like they had been sitting around getting soggy, the neat fell right out of them as soon as you pick them up. Did not have beef and Broccoli on the menu. After they fix your food they bag it and set it on a table, no one calls out your number, you just gotta ask them to see if your food is among all the bags of food orders. Lots of people inside playing games at the table, very lively crowd.

First time visitor while taking in live entertainment at the casino. I had the General Tso’s chicken and fried rice. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, wasn’t as spicy. I understand they charge $2 for carry out orders, not a problem. I don’t live that far, so I can see myself just ordering food and taking it home.

Everything was good but 2 things they missed was there was no cilantro in the garnish which doesnt give the full flavor affect on the pho without it. I also ordered half a duck in which it states it comes with steamed rice on the menu but I did not get that item either.

I am uncomfortable writing this review. The restaurant IS open until 2 AM, tonight. I am not going to share a photo, because the dish is not presented or prepared properly. Smells delicious!
Asia is my favorite restaurant: I am disappointed. I KNOW they do better than what I received tonight.
I will wait until everything goes back to normal or just stick with Ameristar-Asia. Update coming SOON.

We had a great meal at Asia Noodle! I took my very picky father in law there for a late night meal- he and we loved everything! We ordered the sweet & sour chicken, general Tsos chicken, lo mein, and crab ragoons- we were so happy with all of it!
When we read the reviews left in the past, we almost passed it up, I’m so glad we didn’t! We found this place on our last night at the casino and wished we found it sooner. This is my reminder to all that negative reviews are sometimes so dependent on how their day went, how much $ lost at a casino, and so many other factors, so take them with a grain of salt and try it yourself. If you’re staying at River City, try Asia Noodle!

So I paid dam near 20 bucks for a order of chicken fried rice. Asked for 8, yes I said 8 sweet n sour packs. The rude lady told me no. I then asked for a manager. First she lied and said there was none, so I asked someone else. Some Chinese/Korean man I’ve never seen before came and said I don’t need that many and that he’s running the show, said they have to pay for those condiments.
First off, MY ORDER PAID FOR THOSE CONDIMENTS, THAT SHOULD SPEAK FOR ITSELF! SECOND, THE GIRLS THAT WORK THERE HAVE NASTY ATTITUDES! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? IT’S NOT LIKE EVERYONE IS ASKING FOR 8 SWEET N SOUR PACKS SO TO PLEASE JUST 1 CUSTOMER AT THE TIME, WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HARD. WITHOUT US, THERE WOULD BE NO RESTAURANT. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Very bland, bad tasting food. The food isn’t very good. Also the few times they have forgotten to put something that was in our order in our bag they argued that they put it in there & we were lying… they forgot something again this time but I’m not even going to bother calling. Not sure why my dad continues to even purchase from here as we order for at least 7 people each time.

I ordered a pho soup to go. They gave me everything uncooked and cold. The noodles were not even cooked, just straight out of the box, hard and crunchy. The soup itself was just a cold cup of soup. I didn’t notice this until I went back to my hotel room and had to waste my time walking all the way back to the restaurant to ask them to cook the food. They told me if I order the soup to go I have to specify if I want it cooked… which the menu makes no mention of. What is the purpose of ordering takeout if the food isn’t even cooked? If I wanted cold raw ingredients I would go to the grocery store. Absolutely ridiculous.

Update: it was another late night around 11pm and I was craving pho. I said I wouldn’t go back here but it was the only thing open so I decided to give it another shot. Instead of ordering online delivery I decided to go into the restaurant, bc it’s in the casino it is priced higher than other pho locations at $18 for a bowl. This time I inquired on receiving rare steak instead of it being cooked. The lady at the counter laughed n apologized to me stating she can understand how I didn’t like that. I like authentic pho and this time I got just that!! After returning home I heated my broth over the stove and enjoyed the best pho I’ve had in a long time this is a big turn around compared to what I received in my last visit. I got as much hoisin and siracha as I wanted and I received a big box of fresh herbs. I especially like the huge lime they give you as I love the acid in my soup! The pho broth was waaaay richer this time and tastier. I’m happy I gave them another try. Maybe the website can add option to request more sauce and or that you don’t want you steak cooked so it can be soft when added at the time of eating instead of hard and dry from being over cooked in the broth. Until then I will just go into the restaurant to order to avoid them not supplying enough sauces and or cooking my rare steak! The wait was short and food is served fast. I look forward to trying their whole tilapia and duck entrees in the future!
