So first off the first sip of water tasted like dirty dish water as the water tasted like old fish / vegetables which should have been my sign to not order the food . Looking around it looked liked everyone else had the same issue as nobody was drinking their waters .
Ordered the katsu curry and a side of fried rice and the curry was ungodly sweet which was gross and the pork which they give you a good amount of was dry and the breading was super thick and tasted weird . The fried rice looked decent but had no flavor whatsoever .
My wife ordered a sashimi platter but had to ask for the rice that was supposed to come with it . She said it was alright but the rice that comes with wasn’t sushi rice just plain normal jasmine rice .
Overall 1/5 would not go back the place looks nice and the service was whatever but if the food is bad I’d steer clear . Maybe what we ordered was just bad and the other stuff is better but overall was a waste of time and money .
Response was a bit wierd from the owner the sashimi lunch says it comes with a bowl of rice right on the menu on your website which is what she ordered . Sorry if I got platter and lunch mixed up I know what sashimi is lol….

Awesome . Perfect service and delicious choices. Had a bento box tempura shrimp and a tuna poke bowl.
Update different visit.They have a two roll lunch with Miso or a salad. I had the salad. Ginger dressing. The lunch this visit was the two roll I ate two pieces of the salmon before i took the pic.
I also had 2 pcs. Yuzu Madai which I have not had before. There are two versions a seared and a raw. It has a delightful citrus flavor. Both pieces were yum. Perfect service again. Thank You for great food!

Really disappointed with this place due to all the good reviews, went here earlier today and got the sashimi lunch special (referenced in another review) and they forgot the rice.
I kindly asked for rice, which the waitress looked surprised i asked for it. it was surprisingly some of the worst rice ive had. It was dry and not sushi rice which i assumed would have come with it, it was bland and dry.
I know my partner referenced this another review and the owner was like “it doesnt come with rice” on the menu it says rice side which i have added.
The water was gross and we looked around no one really drank theres, i didnt drink mine but it smelled off.
Miso soup was fine, we usually get appetizers from places like this (gyoza and takoyaki) but these guys were nearly double the usual price for the same appetizer we get anywhere else in rochester.
Sashimi itself was cut too thick for some pieces so it was hard to really enjoy a piece of tuna after chewing it for a solid 40 seconds and not making any progress.
Wouldn’t recommend, feels like a Chinese place trying to masquerade as asian fusion, probably one of my worst asian food experiences.
Also i find it EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional to tell a customer to do your research, when the menu says it comes with rice on the side

THE best restaurant to get Asian cuisine. The food is top quality, the portions are HUGE and the prices are reasonable. The staff is amazing as well, friendly and they cater to your every need. If you like top quality, authentic Asian cuisine this is the place for you. This is my regular spot when I go out to eat, so delicious!

Been here before and food is good but the menu didn’t have any allergen warnings. Had the cucumber salad and it turned out to have peanut sauce. When I asked, they said there were no peanuts. At the end of the meal, they told me there were peanuts. Menu needs to be edited and staff should be informed of possible allergens.

Stopped in tonight after seeing a movie. Decided to try it after hearing a lot of good things, and man the reviews couldn’t be more right. Everything about our experience was amazing. We were met by Anna, who seated us and also waited on us. She was so very friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The food was just absolutely delicious, we has their miso soup, seaweed salad, pork ramen bowl, and a few house special rolls. The portion sizes were much larger than expected. Everything was very fresh, and the presentation was just beautiful. During our meal we had the chance to chat with a few other of the staff, everyone was super friendly and genuinely happy to be working there.
We are so glad to have a place like this closer to home. We will definitely be back for more. They are already one of our favorite spots, try them out and see for yourself!

Food did not come out timely with my order coming to the table 10 minutes after my partners and it was not hot.
Atmosphere could be good but waitress not overly friendly, cold draft coming through the door which could use a spring,and constant influx of take out orders crowd waiting in the dining room.

The food here was amazing — super delicious and authentic Chinese dishes with generous portions. But what really made our visit special was the service! Huge thanks to Vicky, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. She greeted us with a smile, gave great recommendations, and kept checking on us throughout the meal. Every little detail was perfect. Thank you, Vicky, for such a wonderful dining experience! We’ll definitely be back.

Our first time at this restaurant. It was super clean, excellent food, excellent service. The interior is modern yet cozy. The Scallion pancakes were awesome.
My husband ordered Mongolian Beed with vegetables. It was in a light savory sauce. I had broccoli with shrimp that a bit of heat to it which was perfect.
We highly recommend this place.

I have eaten this type of food up and down the west coast, and across the country. I have tried numerous restaurants here in Rochester. This place has the best pork fried rice I have ever eaten. So good, I ordered it 2 days straight. Price is reasonable, portions are large enough to have leftovers. Even my wife, who has food concerns, ordered what she could eat and raved about it. Highly suggest. Delicious. We will def be back and have a nice date dinner here!
