The food is amazing! I’ve stopped by and grabbed a takeout order and didn’t even expect this place to be that good! Everything is top-notch! Sushi was so fresh and delicious and the specialty appetizer with avocado is amazing. 5 stars for sure!

This was an absolute treat. I think it’s a newer restaurant here in Metairie/kenner It’s so hard to find sushi of this quality in NOLA. Staff were so nice and helpful, and the food was INCREDIBLE!! They give very good portions of fish in the sushi, the tiger roll was fantastic, and the salmon bento box was AMAZING!! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants some incredible sushi or Japanese food in general. 10/10 A++++++

First off the staff, super welcoming! Very humble and attentive. I absolutely adore the way they make eye contact with you and have such pleasant smiles when they greet you. The food was excellent! The presentation was phenomenal , taste-exceptional and the vibe was just so chill and warm. Definitely one of my to go to dine in and relax restaurants, FASHO!

We were excited to try Asi-Fusion Asian Kitchen & Sushi Bar in Kenner after seeing the 4.9 rating on Google, which is why we chose it over another restaurant nearby. We always try to give highly rated local restaurants a fair chance, so we went in with high expectations.
The restaurant itself is small and we were greeted by a friendly staff member who also served as our waiter. The atmosphere was calm and it wasn’t very crowded.
We eat sushi frequently and usually order a few standard items as a baseline for quality. We started with the gyoza and shumai. The shumai had a strong shrimp flavor but the texture was somewhat soggy, while the pan-seared gyoza was just okay. Both appetizers felt more like store-bought items than freshly made.
We also ordered the snow crab naruto and a rainbow naruto that looked appealing on their screen. Unfortunately, both rolls were assembled so loosely that they fell apart before we could pick them up with chopsticks. The cucumber wrapping seemed sliced too thin to hold them together, and the ingredients in the rainbow naruto fell out immediately. The snow crab version had sauce, but the rainbow naruto had none and felt unfinished.
We also tried the Rock and Roll and the Po Boy roll. The Rock and Roll was average and my husband said the Po Boy roll was okay. The fried banana dessert was probably the highlight of the meal.
On the drive back to Baton Rouge after dinner, both of us experienced stomach discomfort that lasted into the evening, which is unusual for us after eating out. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was food poisoning, but it was noticeable.
Based on our experience, I would give this restaurant two stars. With such high ratings online, perhaps we visited on an off night, but unfortunately it wasn’t a place we would return to.

My entire family is big on sushi and today we decided to try something new! From the cute lil stickers on the front windows to the sushi inside, this place was an unexpected winner we happened upon- it quickly impressed us and we will definitely be back soon.
The Westbank Roll and Lucky Lady Roll were two standouts. Also had one of the best Tiger Rolls I’ve ever had here. My brother got the Tempura Udon and said it was outstanding- so it’s not just sushi that tastes great here.
Very friendly staff and a nice little place to bring family or friends. The little details they add to the sushi plates- like the edible flower and butterfly you see here were charming and put a smile on our faces.

Hey all, freaking excellent sushi here. Like 5 stars. I haven’t ordered a California roll in years but the one that came with the Bento box made me reconsider. Has a yellow tail roll and a crunchy dragon roll. All great. More food than i could eat.

The food here is amazing. We got 5 rolls, agedashi tofu and squid steak, it was a FEAST. Each roll had 8 pieces and they were not skimping. The rolls we got were all really good, but my favorite was the Lucky lady, you could taste the quality of the fish and how fresh it was. The squid steak was really tender and the agedashi tofu had light and crispy exterior with nice soft tofu. If you’re not a fan of raw fish there’s a lot of cooked options for you here as well.

Delicious fresh sushi. We started off with the fried softshell crab appetizer, which was super light and crispy. Served with a lightly tan sauce. I had the miso soup because I was a little cold and it warmed me right up. It was a little on the sweet side.
I ordered the avocado roll and it was pretty massive as far as what I usually get from other places it was a big surprise and I happen to love avocado so that works out well.
They are custom rolls with different kinds of fish. We’re all wonderfully prepared with lots of fish.
Again, all of the fish that we had were super super fresh.
I had the chiraishi dish with three or four kinds of sushi on top again, beautifully prepared and delicious

I cannot describe how fresh the fish at this restaurant tasted… I’ve eaten at many sushi restaurants in the Metairie Kenner area, but I’ve never had sashimi be so fresh before. Me and my friend came here for dinner after work and each got a clear soup, miso soup, split a sashimi appetizer, egg fried rice, and I got the hot girl roll and she got the tiger roll. I didn’t even get pictures of the sashimi appetizer we got because we ate it all before I could ♀️, but the plating was beautiful and it tasted amazing. We split the bill and it was 33 for both of us. But honestly I could care less how much it was because it tasted so good. They are for sure gonna see us back there very soon. also the waiter was super nice and did a great job
