They have freshly made shawarma. It’s a nice place with amazing, delicious, and tasty shawarma. The only notes are that the preparation took quite a while, likely due to online pickup orders, and the quality of the utensils and disposables could be better

This place is the vibe you’re looking for. If you’re from the area, I’d describe it as having your own private Thayer Street minus the bad things about Thayer Street. It’s got a lovely atmosphere, the most respectful/delightful/attentive staff, and a menu full of food and drinks to satisfy. I stopped in on a rainy Saturday night at 11pm and was greeted warmly. There were 6 other customers inside relaxing and smoking hookah. The place has chill, low light and plenty of tables. The gentleman passed me a menu at the counter and recommended the pistachio waffles, which I ordered + a peach smoothie to go. He brought the smoothie to me while waiting, which was very thoughtful. My to-go container came out shortly after (less than 5 min wait for both). This was what I NEEDED. The smoothie was so real-tasting, like a dozen peaches and some cream were the only ingredients. It was also a very generous size for the price. The waffle was MASSIVE, fluffy, freshly made, and so hot it melted all the in-house drizzles they slathered it with. Each bite is better than the last. They also have crepes, pancakes, and hot meals + other drinks — I will be back to try them! Thanks, Ashur Cafe, for a chill end to a good rainy Saturday! 🙂

Cool place with excellent desserts…but I got chicken and it was not good at all not sure about other food..not really a hookah lounge even though they do have hookah…overall nice chill place, but not for hookah because there’s kids sometimes and you sit too close to people so you can’t really talk and relax

Coffee with latte art! I love a cafe with latte art. The waffles and crepes were delicious and so was the coffee. I tried the Nutella waffle and Fruity crepe. It’s open till late at night which is a bonus.
The staff were friendly and service was quick.
The atmosphere is great but it doesn’t have a separate space for Hookah, so if you’re comfortable with the Hookah at the next table, this cafe is a must try!

This place may be small, but don’t let the size fool you. The service and food are honestly some of the best I’ve had—everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and right on point. If you’re into hookah, this spot really stands out because the hookah is top-tier and easily one of the best around. The only downside? The chairs are very uncomfortable lol, so don’t expect to lounge for hours without feeling it. Overall, amazing vibes, incredible food and service—just maybe don’t come for the seating.

I tried both the regular and chocolate baklava, and unfortunately neither was for me. They were much sweeter than expected and had a pistachio sauce added, which made them very different from any baklava I’ve had before. The crispiness felt a bit stale in texture, and the flavors didn’t taste very fresh. That said, I’m sure their other desserts are good. These just missed the mark for me.
