This is a small bakery, with big flavors. A nurse in the hospital told me about this place and I have to say she was right, the pastries they have very impressed. Not your ordinary bakery. I don’t think I ever had a better tasting danish or their buttermilk, cinnamon raisin bread. They also have pasta salads that are definitely different, very good.
Price wise, some items, a little bit on the higher end, but definitely worth it. The staff here is super friendly. I know I will come here again. Great job guys keep it up.

Wow, I’ve been to Paris 5 times and this bakery is as good as any I visited there. The cinnamon roll I had was great. Every bite was like butter melting in my mouth. My wife’s croissant was equally as good. Perhaps the best bakery in northern, all of? Wisconsin. It’s worth driving out of your way to visit. I would have taken a picture but was too busy enjoying my breakfast.

Saturday October 18th on my way to Madeline Island a friend recommended to stop there. They recommended the cinnamon rolls. I got them as well as the HUGE croissants and the cheesecake. EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT! I didn’t expect to walk in a small place, but there was a line from the door. That impressed me. When I got in, the smell of cinnamon and other spices was impressive! Made me so hungry. Staff was kind, helpful and friendly. Everything was wonderful! It’s a 2.5hr drive there, but for the bakery, it’s worth my time as soon as I can get back there again. Keep up the great work Ashland Baking Company

Always Amazing!! The cinnamon roll/pastry are heaven! They may not be what everyone would imagine (being labeled cinnamon roll) but after one bite they will undoubtedly become anyone’s automatic go-to staple pastry… and with so many other delicious pastry choices there is truly something for everyone! Golden brown deliciousness!! The staff is wonderful in every way, friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. Absolutely worth every penny!

The baking is great. There’s been gluten free options each time we’ve been in and the general food is good enough that we pick some baking up to bring back to friends when we get home.

I ordered lavendar cupcakes for a Daddy/daughter Super Soft Birthday party and they were a huge hit with adults and kids! The dessert manager is such a pleasure to work with, and everything was ready to go morning of the party without a hitch. Thank you!!!

Ashland Baking Company is hands down the best bakery I’ve ever been to…in the world.
No joke.
Flaky, buttery layers adorn the croissants and the fruit spreads that bask in the center of each danish appear to have been made from fruits picked at peak harvest.
I drive to Ashland just for a flaky, perfectly baked cinnamon roll or a beautiful French baguette. The pecan rolls are so amazing and the sweetness is always balanced so perfectly.
I am so impressed with the talents of these bakers and this bakery. It’s rare to find a gem like this one. I travel all over searching for baked goods half as decadent as these.
I love that the sugar cookies are actually baked and not those doughy-flour-tasting-clumps with excessive too-sweet frosting all over them.
I just left there and I got: 3 cinnamon rolls, 1 pecan roll, a brandy fruit coffee cake, 4 sugar cookies and zero afternoon plans.
Highest recommendation of this bakery.

We stop by the Ashland Bakery Co to grab some croissants and coffee this morning. They were, without a doubt, some of the best croissants I have ever eaten. I had an almond croissant and a chocolate one, and my friend had a chocolate croissant and a cinnamon roll. She said the cinnamon roll was wonderful too. After we were done, we went back inside and got two more for later. Great place with great service, don’t miss it if you’re in the area.

I’m a self proclaimed pastry snob and the pesto pinwheels are some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything else in the store looked delicious, too!
