Must try. I got the sunny boy. Everything tasted fantastic. Tough to visit because of the hours but well worth it. Would highly recommend.

This used to be a great place to eat, now its the opposite. I do not recommend this resturant to anyone. Very high prices and not to mention the automatic 20% charge on every order. They do not inform you they are going to charge you this 20% on your order!! We ordered steam corn stew and frybread and roast mutton sandwich. For the steam corn, you get a tiny piece of mutton with what looks like hominy and bits of steam corn. You get more soup then anything else, also it was extremely greasy! With a side of a small piece of frybread. The roast mutton, you get small chopped up pieces of mutton(similar to what they are serving in the steam corn!) and a small bacon sliced of mutton served on tortilla! Save your money and go elsewhere

Take my advice and do not eat here. I should have read the reviews before ordering. 20% “large group gratuity” automatically gets added on even if it’s for 3 ppl..? The food was not good at all but I didn’t want to be rude. My Navajo taco was like a thin crust pizza.. not in a good way. Idk if they use canned beans? I could be wrong but it tasted like it and it was also cold.
Their fries weren’t done and they give you like maybe 10-15 fries.. maybe less than that.
I don’t ever say anything bad about business but this has to be the worst! The amount we paid was ridiculous for what we got served.

I’ve heard about this place and of course good things about it and some were not so great. I thought i would give it a shot and get some food for my father .. service with the ladies we’re kinda rude , but its else where so I’m use to it.. sad to say… I was disappointed with the food because the stew was in a tiny bowl and the price was 19 dollars for a tiny bowl but the frybread were a decent size. 19 dollars??? Expensive… I’m not from Farmington, so I have no clue where else is a good place to get navajo food .

Lunch was delicious . I ordered steamed corn with mutton and frybread. I wanted so much more buy decided on one dish. Next time, I would like to try dumpling stew with mutton. I was happy to see blue corn mush in the menu. They were quick and fast. It is a must try for sure if you are in the four corners area.

I don’t recommend this food establishment. Portion size is definitely not there. For a bowl of steamcorn being $15 I would suggest more corn . Also the lady taking orders was demanding customers to leave a tip

This is a no-frills local place serving local classics. The fry-bread was excellent. Seems to be quite popular with the locals. If you’re from a long ways away and have little experience with Navajo/Diné food (such as myself) be conservative with your menu selections as I got a bit more than I bargained for… Great experience overall. My one complaint is that their soda fountain was having icemaking issues so we ended up overpaying for generic canned sodas.

Low key eatery with traditional Navajo food.
We stopped whilst on a road trip to Santa Fe, opted for the mutton and corn stew.
The flavours were exactly what I anticipated: sweetness of the corn and meatiness of the mutton were delightful.
Navajo bread was delicious!
Opted to drink a cup of Navajo tea, which helped digest the food.

Great food, and the cashier was so friendly. We spent the weekend in Aztec to visit the ruins, a little road trip from southwest AZ, and purposely stayed a little later at the hotel so we could get a traditional frybread meal before heading home. So glad we did!
