The soul food here completely won me over. Everything was delicious and easily a full 10 out of 10. On Friday, I tried the fried pork chops and they were cooked to a perfect golden crisp. The fried chicken, fried fish, mac and cheese, seafood pasta, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes and all the other dishes were amazing too. For dessert, the peach cobbler was unbelievably good. A true five-star experience.

I love the soul food here absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10 let’s try again. On Friday they had fried pork chops deep fried to golden perfection. Fried chicken, fried fish , Mac and cheese, seafood pasta, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes and so much more. Peach cobbler for dessert was smacking tasty.

I think this place was supposed to be a a buffet. However, she said the hot bar was down. I ordered the fried chicken (they didn’t have a Breast), Mac n cheese and collard greens plus corn bread. The food was good.

I enjoyed my food but because of the misinformation on uber, it gets 1 less star. I decided to order through uber eats and it clearly states it comes with 2 sides. However, when clicking the plate I wanted, it only allows you to pick 1 side. I had to spend extra money to get my 2nd side when it should have been included!
Aside from that, I thought the food was good. I ordered the fried chicken plate with Mac and cheese and yams. The chicken was well seasoned and crispy, the mac and cheese was cheesy and the yams weren’t overly sweet but just right. I would say get the food in person to get your 2 sides until the 2 included sides is fixed on delivery.

I stopped by this location again hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, this was my **fourth visit** where the food was **not ready or available**. This is supposed to be a **buffet**, meaning the food should already be prepared and ready for customers — not hours away from being done.
When I asked about the specific item I came for (**pig’s feet**), I was told it had *just* been put on and would take another **three hours**. That’s completely **unacceptable and unprofessional**, especially for a buffet-style restaurant.
As someone who isn’t from this area, I genuinely wanted to support local business — but **the lack of preparation, timeliness, and customer service needs serious improvement**. Until then, I can’t recommend this location.

The food is fantastic! The owner is very nice and makes his customers feel at home. A Soul Food buffet cannot be beat! If I were to be critical, they could have a bigger selection, but for their price, their selection is good enough for me! In conclusion, I will definitely patronize Ashford’s Kitchen again!

New favorite spot! This food is what you’re looking for when you want grandmas cooking. The customer service was fantastic. It was like going to dinner at your cousins’ house after church. It’s a little hole-in-the-wall gem and we will definitely be regulars.

This food was absolutely nourishing for the soul! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the all you can eat buffet. The prices are great and affordable for two people to enjoy a great meal. This place is absolutely brilliant, I’m not sure how they’re able to give that type, quality and amount of food for such a small price.
Every time I would look up they were bringing new and fresh items to the bar. The lady that works in the back was so polite and smiling the entire time,,you can just sense that she was a real cook.. My favorite was the Mac and cheese and the fried chicken, along with the amazing customer service..

My folks have been taking me all over ATL showing me different restaurants. This is the best one so far. If you like GOOD flavorful soul food/grand mama’s cooking this is the spot to be. My little brother plays on the Georgia State University football team and he brought some of his teamates, family, and church folks here. This is the real deal y’all!
