At lunchtime we ordered a cheese pizza, sliders, chicken parm sliders, and cheesesteak fries. All of our food tasted like no seasonings had been used at any step. The chicken Parm sliders were very thin and so overcooked they were hard to bite. The pizza had no flavor other than grease and cost $17 total ($2 upcharge to add bacon to half) for what was a small or medium pizza, not a large. Very disappointing. It was the kind of food I’d nominate for kitchen nightmares show.
Service was alright and it was kid friendly.

First time visitor to Ashburner Inn, disappointing experience overall. When I walked into the lobby of the restaurant there were two doors, one set leading to a defined dining area and the other leading to the ballroom area, there was no signage or indication as to where diners who wanted to be in the dining room needed to go, so I guessed and went directly into the dining room. There was no indication within the dining room as to where I needed to go for a hostess or if I needed to seat myself, it took over 5 minutes before waitress asked me if I needed help and told me to sit anywhere.
I expected based upon the decor of the dining room this is going to be a pub steakhouse, I was a little disappointed to find a fairly General entree list, Deli sandwiches, salads, and burgers. I ordered a chicken marsala entree and asked for French onion soup in place of the soup of the day, which wasn’t a problem. I very much enjoyed the French onion soup.
The chicken marsala dish was an experience, served over thick spaghetti noodles were several thin cuts of chicken with a marsala sauce so thin it may as well been broth with mushrooms that seemed like they may have been tinned. Upon tasting I immediately tasted cooking sherry instead of marsala, a distinctive flavor difference. Eating the dish was messy, the watery sauce dripped over everything and I couldn’t stop it.
I give credit because it appeared scratch made.
I thought at the end of the meal the dish was pricey at $20 for what I received.
I visited on a Saturday evening, there was a live band, they were playing twangy Rock loosely late 50s to Mid 70s.
Definitely a location that appeared to cater largely to seniors, I did not see a great number of patreons that I thought were under the age of 55 except a few children who were clearly with their grandparents.

Wood fire brick oven pizza was delicious and worth the price. The staff was friendly and the service was attentive. The pizza comes in one size perfect for a party of two. Cozy atmosphere. I wish Ashburner Inn had delivery service, but will still return for the food and drinks.

Nice atmosphere, great food, excellent drink specials during games….. Update on 10/27/21: We ordered a few different pizzas on a couple of occasions and they were excellent, especially the Margherita pizza. Update #2 on 6/15/24: The pizza is as spectacular as ever. We got the Tomato pie and it’s as good as I’ve ever had. Light, crispy, excellent tasting sauce, and ZERO flop. Easy 8.1 on the Portnoy scale.

Went here tonight for the first time with my family of 9. We sat at an outdoor table since the weather was beautiful. Our service was outstanding, the food was absolutely amazing! The chicken nachos appetizer is a must have and big enough for 5 people or more to share. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the drinks were top notch. The kids also went crazy for the cheesesteak spring rolls. But, the icing on the cake was when the bill came, I thought that the waitress had messed up but nope, it was so affordable! We will 100% be back many many times.

Held my wedding upstairs on Halloween. It was everything I wanted and more. Debbie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The bartenders and bussers all worked so hard to make sure everything and everybody was taken care of. The food was amazing and I am just thankful I was able to host at a places that holds so many cherished family memories.
