Stopped in for brunch on our way to flower mart and absolutely loved it! The room is absolutely gorgeous with deep red walls made from stone, nice furniture choices and beautiful ceilings. Really great vibe that reminds me of Dirty French in Miami. The food and service were both excellent. This place is pretty new but already punching well above their weight class.

Delightful like no other dining room!! I stayed at the hotel because I was so drawn to the style after visiting the New Orleans location. Baltimore’s did not disappoint. The hotel is a little dark and moody, with color brought in through surprising details (teal tiles with blank sink & shower?!). But on to ash bar – incredible! It just drips with exclusivity from the entrance. The dining room is blocked off from view by an old school folding partition. Once you’re seating the excitement starts. The service is impeccable. The staff are too cool and gracious. We sat for brunch. Benedict, French toast, 24 hour pressed potatoes. Enjoy this place!! And dress for breakfast, the glamour of the room deserves it.

Perfect spot, especially if you’re staying at the hotel. The 24 hour pressed potatoes were the highlight for sure. Also tried the homemade sausage and a side of asparagus and both were delicious. The potatoes and sauce that accompanied the sausage made for really well-balanced flavors. As a bonus, you’re given crayons to color on your paper table covering and I wish more places allowed adults this fun.

This Ultra art-deco experience is a hidden gem for a lush cocktail in the dimly lit chatter of a historic hotel. The vibes are absolutely immaculate for those who find this hidden gem. The bartender helped my friend shake the perfect martini. The cocktail I had was a bourbon based delicious cocktail.

My husband and I stopped here on our travels back home from South Carolina. Where do I start?? The table mats you could color on. I love that!! For fine dining to give adults the opportunity to color and express themselves was so much fun. The food was delicious, and the drinks were also good. If we ever return to Baltimore, we know exactly where to eat and stay!!

Fantastic experience. We went for restaurant week, and the staff were so friendly, accommodating, and communicative. The food was delightful, with quality ingredients and lovely presentation. The bar program was also top-tier, with wonderful creativity and excellent spirit choices. We had a tandem reservation with Bloom’s down the hall, and the staff made it a seamless transition. The space itself is also gorgeous, which must be said!

Stopped here for afternoon brunch drinks. This is a gorgeous “cafe society” time capsule lounge for morning coffee and breakfast, lunchtime day drinks and or a chic weekend brunch either at the bar, tables or on chairs/sofas, which look prime for reading and writing. Later meals and dinners such as steak tartar have a simple but appealing European flair. The Ulysses Hotel is already an inmersive treat and Ash Bar, resembling an art-deco train dining car with some chinoserie touches is quite a local asset, with no detail left untouched. Prices, given the ambiance and details are actually very fair and comparable, especially coffee and espresso drinks. Kind, attentive staff. Will be returning.

The perfect hideaway to get out of the heat and enjoy a cool drink. Can’t beat the vibe. Sort of makes you feel like you’re a spy or having an affair or trying to solve a murder. Yep, it’s that cool.
