Such a cool place, there really isn’t anything like the Ase atmosphere in the KC area very unique! Both the coffee and cocktails are crafted really well.
Personally I love their Matcha with a little honey. Great place for meeting friends or work. And the night vibes are perfect not to quiet not loud.
The barista / bartenders are knowledgeable, fun to talk with, and really make you feel welcomed. Again really awesome place!

I absolutely love this coffee shop! Everything about it is amazing—from the beautiful aesthetic to the incredibly friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax or get some work done. They also have an impressive amount of seating, so you rarely have to worry about finding a spot. And the coffee is always great! It’s easily one of my favorite places to go.

If you live anywhere near Kansas City and haven’t been to Ase Coffee, you are seriously missing out. This is hands down one of my favorite coffee shops of all time.
First of all, their reliability is unmatched. They’re almost always open. Rain, snow, etc. That kind of consistency is rare, especially in the coffee world, and it makes them such a staple in the community.
The staff? Incredible. Every single person is kind, inviting, and genuinely welcoming. And I truly believe they have some of the best baristas in Kansas City. They know how to make coffee the right way. Every drink is crafted perfectly. Their lattes are next level (I’ve basically made it my personal mission to try them all), and if you’re a matcha lover..oh yeah. You’ll want to come back again.
The coffee itself has honestly spoiled me. Nothing else in Kansas City quite compares. It just tastes that good.
Their Instagram content is also top tier, which tells you they really care about excellence and vision. They hire the best, they collaborate well, and they execute beautifully.
I also love that they’re always doing something fun (taco trucks, mini pop-ups, workshops, cocktail hours, worship nights). It’s become a community.

The whole space is just so beautiful. I loved the whole aesthetic of it. When you walk in you feel so bougie and fancy. The people there so so kind and nice! I ordered a sausage sandwich and a poptart with green tea! It was amazing! The best pop tart ever! Everything came out fast. I went there on a Sunday evening def. It was such a good place to sit and talk with my friend! My favorite thing was the way the tea came in!! It was so cute!

My mom and I visited for the first time today. You have to go up some stairs once you enter to get to their door since the buidling is shared with another business. The place was very cute – the setup clearly had a lot of thought put into it and it was very spacious. The wall decorations didn’t seem to match the rest of the ambiance so that did throw us off initially. We loved that they had shirts and clay cups for sale (among other things).
We ordered a pastries and coffee. The pastries were good, but not what we expected since we didnt really taste apple. (They weren’t labeled and we were told they were apple fritters but the receipt does say apple turnover, not sure it’s that either). The coffee and fog we had were decent, but something was off. I would definitely come again, and maybe just try something else.
