Finally got to try this place and I was very pleased with the service, food, and coffee. Everyone was pleasant to talk to and the coffee was great. Tried their Carlsbad Burrito and loved it. There is a lot of room and a play area inside for toddlers and outside for bigger kids, 2 patio areas that are well kept. Great place for a meet up or just a solo trip.

While on a coffee date with my wife, we were delightfully surprised by Ascend Coffee Roasters. Ascend Coffee masterfully uses space to create a atmosphere of community. Firstly, you will notice the huge space. You think this is too much space. The huge space allows people to gather, without the coffee shop becoming too loud. Secondly, Ascend intentionally provides a play area for babies and tottlers. We never heard the sounds of babies crying, thanks for the large space. Finally, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, tables are spaced in such a way to provide a little “elbow space.” This extra space makes for a calm environment. The baristas were quick at the bar, and they kept the shop clean. I plan to revisit Ascend. When you see the Vista Arch, then you know you are at Ascend Coffee.

Ascend Coffee is in Vista!!! Not only is their food the best but this new location is stunning. Lots of parking, nice seating area, great view, same fantastic coffee. Really good coffee and drinks! The green iced tea was strong and well steeped. The cookie was bomb. I did have a breakfast sandwich last time I was here, and it didn’t have the modifications we asked for but delicious nonetheless! They are new and I understand these things happen. But still coming back. Great space to bring your laptop and work. Plus a Lil kids area in the back patio.

We really enjoyed our lunch at ascend. This place is huge. While I had Chipotle Panini and thought it was great. The other side other dishes and all of us locked our food. The coffees that we had were fantastic.

We recently moved to the area from Nevada and we’ve been here two days in a row because it’s just so good. The food is wonderful, the staff is great, the coffee is amazing, and the play areas are such a huge bonus. Absolutely recommend to work, or bring the kids for some play time while you get a coffee break. Love it here.

I woke up feeling like a character of a movie and decided to leave my safe home as I was craving some good coffee. This was not the coffee shop I was looking for but ended up here.
I ordered the Brown Sugar Latte and the Santa Fe Bagel. Here are my thoughts:
Coffee: Delicious. Just my cup of Joe. The coffee was juustttt overpowering the sweetness and that’s the way (uhu-uhu) I like it.
Bagel: I was eating my bagel and my lady was next to me. As I took my first chew after munching the first bite off – I thought “I’d slap my grandma for this”. I didn’t say it out loud which told me this was a LEGIT thought. I could see myself in a Muay Thai class demonstrating full RANGE OF MOTION on her. Rotation of the hips, knee pointing to the ground, and the toes pivoting. Honestly, any grandma was lucky to not be around cause boii. Nobody was gonna take my bagel away.
I’ll be back. This must be what inspired the Terminator.
