It’s my birthday and I had called around looking for a restaurant that served carrot cake. (My favorite) After arriving I was met with a wonderful and friendly staff. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with an open atmosphere. The entire place was clean and so were the staff. The food was excellent. My husband enjoyed the seafood buffet and I enjoyed the black bean burger. After our meal we had the opportunity to visit with some of the staff. I truly wish that we had discovered this place before there season ended.

This is a very nice place to dine. It is located next to Seneca Caverns. The facility has a nice vibe to it. On the night we went, they had a special ramp buffet for $25. Ramp inspired dishes such as ramp salad dressing, ramp cornbread, ramps and beans, sautéed ramps, ramp pasta, and more! I tried it all. The food was quite good and you also got dessert. I went with the peanut butter cheesecake. It needed a bit more peanut butter flavor, in my opinion, but still a nice finish to our meal.

It was around 6pm when we arrived. The restaurant was empty but the staff was VERY friendly and service was amazing.
My wife ordered the French onion soup and the jalapeño poppers. Both were great!
I got the pulled pork BBQ with sweet potato fries. The fries were TOP notch. Pulled pork was above average. Not bad, but not fresh homemade pulled pork. This place was a very nice spot to have dinner in the area.
We planned on pie and ice cream for dessert but did not have quite enough room and a longish car ride back to the cabin we were staying in. But the pies did look very good and the hands cooped icecream flavors were very enticing.

Enjoyed lunch at Asbury’s following our cavern tour. The sandwiches were really good as well as the homemade chips and sweet potato fries. Kimberly was our server and she was awesome. Kimberly, although she was extremely busy never made us wait and was friendly and very attentive.

We got there and wasn’t sure if it was even open. We had the place to ourselves. Very beautiful scenery. I took some awesome time-lapse of rain coming over the mountains. My boyfriend ordered the trout and I the pheasant. Both were delicious. I have never seen pheasant in a restaurant before so that was different for me. Charming place, although I do think it is closer to 5 miles off the main road and not 3.5.

This place was awesome. Great food, great views, and great service from our server Kim! Everything tasted homemade and they have options for gluten free buns for the sandwiches. They even have gluten free cones for the ice cream. Great little tucked away place after an outdoor adventure or just to grab some homestyle cooking!

This is an absolute must go when you are in the area the drive will set you in the mood and once you get there and experience the view and the flavors of the food nothing can stop you from coming back. The Black Angus steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I’m not talking about a premix seasoning you can taste fresh herbs and vegetables that are not over or under cooked. The salad that comes with the meal was phenomenal nothing beats a good fresh crisp mix lettuce bowl with cherry tomatoes cucumbers red onions and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

Great Place to eat near Seneca Caverns
This restaurant is only open from Apr 1 – Oct 31. This site is located along WV 9 several miles down two lane roads. There is a fairly large parking lot around that is the center of a family style restaurant, a gift shop and a restroom building. The caverns tours are seasonal so check their site and the date to make sure that they are open. We were lucky and got on one of the last cavern tours for the season on Halloween. We had to wait a while before the tour started. At that time the tours ran about every hour and take about an hour. You leave to go underground on one side of the restaurant and come up on the other side of the building. There are some other activities but we decided to try the restaurant. It is a lovely place with real silverware and great staff. The view out the main window was across hills covered with the beautiful fall colors of the changing leaves. We ordered 2 drinks and snacks while waiting for our tour. I am glad we stopped by to try this place for the food, staff and view. Service was a little slow but the food was good and the staff were exceptionally nice. I enjoyed the restaurant and recommend it for my fellow travelers.
