Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten brings a biergarten experience to Asbury Park. We welcome you to join us in the centuries-old European tradition – communal tables where friends and soon-to-be-new-friends mingle in a lively, friendly atmosphere. The establishment features a 9,000 square foot outdoor rooftop Biergarten and 6,000 square foot indoor dining space where our bartenders pour beers, craft cocktails, ad wine.

Was great atmosphere but I asked for 2 diff foods they didn’t have and then ordered a cocktail they didn’t have. This is why I gave it 4 stars. Wait person’s should not have to spend the first 5 minuts of their experience with customers telling them what’s not on the menu, that’s management’s fault. Upstairs was fun, good music playing, great vibe. Food we did order came fast and was very good, although if you order disco fries and you have ever ordered them from any Jersey diner, you will be disappointed. Not enough cheese and gravy. I highly recommend the pretzel with beer cheese. SO GOOD.

Been coming here since they opened, always a good atmosphere! Usually very busy on the weekends don’t expect to find bar space or a seat on a Saturday night. Bartenders are friendly and the drinks list used to be way better (budlight and modelo at a German beer hall? Come on). Luckily they still have some European Beers left

Went to see my friends band there. Was charged a cover which is fine then tried to get a wine at the rooftop. Bartender was rude. Was actually annoyed that I wanted a glass of wine! The other bartender, John was very nice. Guy at front door told me it’s free to leave when I asked if he was still charging a cover. Rude obnoxious staff. My friends band was great and brought a lot of people in. But I will not go back. Learn some manners or just be cool at least.

My husband and I had a coed baby shower at the Biergarten last weekend and it was phenomenal! Our guests all had a wonderful time and have been telling us how much they enjoyed the food. The staff went above and beyond to make our day so special. Big shout out to Kelly!! She was involved from the moment we booked till the last guests left. Can’t thank you all enough!

This poor review is coming from a long time family of customers who use to speak very highly of this place. I am disgusted by the experience I just had here when introducing a good friend of mine. I was looking forward to coming here all day. We got to the door they asked for ID, which is fine I understand that. My friend brought her daughter and she is her guardian. Bouncer immediately denied us service because he said a parent has to be present. Insensitively did not acknowledge that SHE IS the parent. Do you not know the definition of guardian???? I am disgusted by the discrimination we just went through. I went to ask to speak to a manager and then quickly switched to saying he was the “manager” and that he can make whatever rules he wants to because we are a private business. No you are just a disgusting racist man. My family will NO longer be customers at here and this place should be ASHAMED to say the very least.

Long lines at the bar, but such an amazing roof top space with live music. Plenty of seating areas both on the roof and indoors downstairs. The wall gardens were very pretty. Cash only for food was a bummer. But took cards at the bar at least.

This was my first time here. I can see why this place is so popular. I know the area very well, and spent my summers growing up in Bradley Beach and Asbury Park. It’s located next to the Asbury park Distilling Company.

Our friends made the reservation and we were not aware that you needed an ID to enter. My wife didn’t have her ID on her. Which is no big deal. However, the way the guy at the entrance approached it is in my mind unacceptable. He was being rude and trying to belittle us. I asked if she could just get an X on her hand because she wasn’t going to drink anyways. He then proceeds to say that kids with a parent can eat here but we can’t simply go in just to eat. I don’t mind the rules but the way he approached it. Give a guy a clipboard and a radio and he thinks he can walk on water apparently.
