This place was very busy, with about a 30-minute wait for a table. We chose to sit at the bar and were seated immediately. The service was excellent, and the food was good. I especially liked that the rolls didn’t have much rice, and the fish was very fresh. I’d recommend this spot if you’re in the Granada Hills area.

Nice indoor seating and lighting, staff are always bustling but willing to help and assist you. My boyfriend and I got the fried calamari, salmon teriyaki bowl, caterpillar roll, and a baked roll from the specials menu.

This use to be my favorite Sushi spot we stoped by for late night dinner and they denied me access with my service Dog. Mind you iv bin bringing her at least twice a month for the past 5 years she is a 5 lb Chihuahua that just sits in her zipped up bag, doesn’t make a sound because she’s trained not to. I suffer from PTSD in Public places from past trauma having her with me keeps me calm. Iv never have a problem anywhere I take her. Now the the new manager at Asahi says she’s not welcome so I guess that means I’m not welcome they have just lost a loyal customer Not to mention the hostess was very rude about it. In this picture from previous times you can see her in the bag not bothering anyone

Here for a birthday for my sister, she was craving sushi and she loved it. It was delicious, baked sushi took a little longer but it was very good. We like to rate place, this one or the other one, everyone picked this one. More expensive but worth it for special occasions.

I would have given 5 stars but the fact they charged us 18% for a large party is ridiculous. It was 3 adults and 2 kids ages 2 and 5. My 2 year old ate 1 piece of sushi lol. Besides that the food was great however they our waiter messed up on the galbi ribs order so we had to wait a while to get those out to us. Service was really good also. I also thought pricing was a it much on the galbi ribs.

Asahi Sushi nails it across the board super fresh fish, and a menu packed with inventive rolls and classic favorites. The ambiance is warm and modern, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Whether you’re dining in or ordering out, this spot delivers quality and consistency. A local favorite for good reason!

I ended up trying a drink I wouldn’t have thought to order on my own — and it was perfect! Rich, flavorful, and just the right temperature. She even wrote a little smiley face on my cup, which was such a small touch, but it really brightened my day.

This sushi spot is a gem in the Granada Hills community! Their food is incredibly fresh, which is what stands out the most. I absolutely love their Caterpillar Roll and Mexican Roll—both are delicious. The service is always friendly, and the staff is so sweet. We usually dine in, but I did takeout last night and it didn’t disappoint one bit. The place is also very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, great atmosphere but mediocre service. We’ve been here many times and the food doesn’t disappoint. However, the service is hit or miss. Tonight, it was a miss. I still recommend this place if you love sushi this is the place to be go.
Update: still exception food but again mediocre service. The restraunt was extremely busy, but even as it cleared out, the wait staff wasn’t very attentive, and we were waiting an extremely long time to get to go boxes and the check.

Stopped by for dinner. I really like the food here and didn’t have a reason not to give 5 stars. They have add free uni on top of the oysters and I’m a big fan of uni!! My favorite dish was the bento set, just felt that it’s very delicious. The sushi was very large in size, both rice and fish, so I ended up taking home more than I expected to do so. My friends really like the food here too! Try catching their happy hour or late night promotion because it saves a lot of bucks.
