We were staying in Douglas and the lady at the hotel reccomended this place. We were not disappointed. We didn’t know what to order so the girl at the register reccomended the burrito. It was super delicious and almost couldn’t eat it all. Had to get the pineapple and caramel empanadas to go for later. They were also delicious . Great for late snack or breakfast. Definitely be eating here more in the future.

I was in the mood for some grilled chicken and decided to try this asadero. First of all, there is so much food included. I couldn’t finish. Probably could have shared with someone. Definitely a nice smokey flavor on the chicken. Enjoyed the little side salad and grilled onions and jalapeño. Beans and tortilla rounded out the meal. Ahora, dormir!

Service is prompt, and the food is good. Compared to the Burros found on the counterpart of Douglas, Agua Prieta, they are as good. I would suggest that the Salsas and dressings for the Burros were on a small tray like they do in Mexico rather than the small plastic take-out containers if you have your food at the place.

I placed an order 20mins before arriving. When I should up I had to wait an additional 10 mins when I was told it will be ready in 15mins. As far as the food goes it is over priced for what you get I ordered a big burro macho and it was not it very disappointed you do not get what you pay for here !!

Over priced and small amount of food. $13 for a small burrito with nothing on it. You can get a bigger one with everything on it for less at another place. I don’t recommend this place unless you just want to waste your money.

You can smell the mesquite grill from the parking lot. I had carne asada taco macho. Tender, juicy, flavorful carne asada with grilled chili and melted cheese

We figured it was good place to eat because it was busy there on a Sunday evening. It was delicious everyone agreed (large group) despite nobody understanding much of the menu. I asked for a veggie burrito then she asked if I wanted chicken in it and I said yes so it ended up being a chicken wrap of some kind which tasted very good but it was pretty small and not like any burrito I had before – missing rice and beans! It was still very good and I guess I misunderstood what I was ordering. The place was very clean and nice people working there, food was fast.
