Exceptional. Basic burgers burritos done extremely well. The double cheeseburger was phenomenal patty melt was delicious too. Zucchini fries were a surprisingly good feature! Beware, then mini peppers have significant kick ️ strongly recommend. Will visit again.

My family has been coming here for over 25 years! Great bean and cheese burritos! Perfect cheeseburgers, and if you have never tried the zucchini fries I feel sorry for you!! A’s is the place! Plus it’s walking distance from the beach baby!!!

I enjoy the food and prices at both A’s locations. I usually get a burger when I come. The zucchini fries, onion rings, and normal fries are all good. Huge portions.
The quesadilla was ok. Not bad, but nothing special. The salsa was surprisingly hot.
Update: I tried the patty melt on my most recent visit. Honestly subpar. I like that they put two patties on the bread. The grilled onions are fine. But a grievous lack of cheese. There was basically none. The innards just slide out of the bread.

Got a few delicious hamburgers and onion rings. They have delicious milkshakes and zucchini fries as well. Just what my family needed for the car trip home. We left with full tummies and decided to leave them a nice review. Thank you for serving the food so fast and fresh hot. We will for sure be coming back through here when in the area again. I can see why the locals suggest coming here for a quick bite to eat. Would recommend bringing an appetite as an order of onion rings are huge

A’s Burgers is one of those no-nonsense spots that hits when you want a good burger. The meat was cooked right, toppings were fresh, and the fries didn’t disappoint. Service was chill and fast. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m in the mood for comfort food.

Food was delicious! Was visiting San Clemente Beach from out of town and stopped in for lunch on our way back home. We were here at lunch time (about 12:30pm) on a Thursday & it was fairly busy inside but especially so in the drive thru! The portions are very generous & the food was really yummy! I got (house made) ranch dressing to dip my fried zucchini in. It was fantastic! A member of my party got a steak & egg burrito and he loved it so much he was sorry he doesn’t live closer! The service was amazing! The staff was all very kind & polite. We’ll definitely be back next year when we’re back in this area!

I was enjoying the breakfast steak burrito until today, tough and chewy overcooked carne asada replaced tender thin sliced steak.
The potatoes were still good but that burrito was one bite and right into the trash!

I’m from the South and can enjoy a good fast food burger. Must say that this is a great lil hidden gem. After a day on the boat, nice to swing by and grab a burger, fries and a ice cold soda! Only challenge here is getting in and out of A’s. When PCH is backed up, that turn can take a some patience especially on the weekend. Otherwise, smooth sailing!
