Food was a 3/10 for me.. no taste. The chicken tastes like it came out of a can, the queso was disgusting, the salsa for the chips tastes strictly like ketchup, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Quick for lunch. Salsa is tasty. Lunch fajitas are a good value and of good quality. Marvic was the only server but he was a 1 man show. He was attentive, accurate and friendly.

Great place to dine in. Nice staff and clean environment. Excellent and attentive customer service. Came here for a friend’s daughter’s 25th birthday and Arturo’s made it worthwhile. They even joined us in the celebration – added some musical touch to it! We had so much fun, enjoyed the foods and left happy and satisfied. Will sure visit here again. Thank you Marcy and the team!

Great spot for a quick in-and-out lunch. The service was great and the food came out hot and fresh very quickly. The rice was a little plain and the refried beans were a little thin but very flavourful, the Beef burritos with queso were good. The cheese sauce was a bit thin, but the beef was perfectly seasoned. I’d recommend it!

10/29/25 Ordered Tacos al Carbon the meat was dry, had no taste and looked old meat turning green color. For $18.00 down the drain the rice no flavor beans a bit runny and the salsa oh gosh like ketchup! Not coming back to this place seems after the pandemic the food/service/atmosphere have declined so bad!

The photos are updated as of 10/27/2022. First, this is a very clean dive. I believe that the price range deserves an increase to two dollar signs. Service was decent, I will not busy. The food came out very quick and fresh. This restaurant is a dive, do not let that fool you, they do not have dive prices.
My wife ordered the tacos, El cabron, beef with corn tortillas. I ordered a chimichanga also in beef. I was very disappointed with the beef, it was cut into small bite-size pieces, and was very chewy. I had a hard time chewing it, but mainly, I just swallowed it. My wife could not you at all. The chimichanga, what song, the small side, they lather it in a Ranchero sauce, which I asked for eight to be on the site. First experience, probably my last. I will not be running back to this place.

Super friendly staff. Between us, we had 9 different things. Each one was very, very good. The queso flameado is just *stupid* good. While it’s not super fancy looking, the taste and texture are phenom.
Quick and attentive service the whole time. Not crowded at all on a Saturday night. Can’t believe the place wasn’t packed out. You’ll be glad you gave this place a try if you go. I eat a lot of Tex Mex, and this is now very near the top of my list.

As a restaurant person I view things differently perhaps? I went with a friend to dinner here tonight. As I had not been in since before the big shut down I wanted to try them again. I understand why the restaurant is not busy. The food was extreme mediocre and so was the service. I’m not sure if this was our young female waitresses’ first rodeo but it appeared that way from us having to ask for straws, salsa and lack of checking back in but the service was not what I expect from a sit down establishment at all.
I had a shrimp quesadilla and friend had cheese enchiladas and both were simply “meh”. My 3 stars are being generous. With all the wonderful restaurants now in Irving to spend money at on a Friday night, this will be a non repeat or as we say: A One & Done.

The hubby and I Love Mexican fiod and have always seen this place but never stopped in but we both asked Where in the heck has this place been and why has it not been in our restaurant go to spots. The staff is extremely Amazing and very Friendly. Always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was extremely Awesome. I will say it’s about time we found a place that has rice and refried beans that has flavor. We both normally leave both of those items on our plate because of no flavor or the only flavor you get is a mouth full of salt. I had the crispy beef tacos now the only bad part of my dinner was the taco shells were not crispy and I ended up taking the filling out and eating it with the crispy chips and salsa…lol. The ground beef filling in my tacos had a lot of flavor…my husband ordered the soft beef fajita tacos and that meat was so super soft. Just one suggestion…it would be great if any Mexican restaurant would serve the chips and salsa warm (heat wise) it is always great that way. We will definitely be back and try other items on the menu. Thanks. So I’m adding a bit more to my review…So yesterday 09/18/2021 we visited for my hubbys 66th Birthday and we brought his Sister there for her first visit since we bragged about this place so much and she lives within walking distance. First the young man working there (Super Awesome nice like all the staff) ran and opened the door for us and found a table to accommodate for us since she was in a wheelchair and he had a rollator and I use a cane. Service was fast and the food was hot and AMAZING as usual. My sister in law feel in love with Arturos and they didn’t disappoint. She said we would definitely be back and if she could she would be there everyday and wished they would deliver to her since she would be ordering everyday…LOL. New satisfied customer. My husband was happy to have spent his birthday in a great place with great food. Thanks.
