I’m gonna be honest… this is a no for me. I tried not to be judgmental, but I just can’t do this place again. It looks small and dingy on the outside and I was hoping the inside would wow me.
Unfortunately, you walk into what looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. I instantly started looking for the most recent inspection, but it isn’t required to be posted here, and so it wasn’t. I’m not sure how they passed, but my fiancé wanted to try this place so there we were.
The floors are dirty, benches are worn so badly your butt falls into the interior of the seat below the cushion, the stools are wobbly, EVERYTHING needs dusted, the ceiling tiles are stained with previous leaks, floor tiles are missing, etc.
We ordered a drink, 14″ inch pepperoni pizza, and 8 breadsticks. This came out to $36 something which is probably average, but I’m not paying that again for the average food. Breadsticks were plain as could be, pizza had a decently thick crust, but was overshadowed by the cheese (and where was the pepperoni?).
The people were nice other than an assumed family member going in and out of the kitchen. Overall, it just didn’t seem sanitary or like that was a priority at all.
As we drove away, I noticed a broken window pane “covered” by a pizza box. Just not something I would recommend unfortunately.

Great food but they treat you like a number. I called to order to take out and they kept interrupting me then said that they only do it for pizza which was NOT on their website. When I got into the store I ordered and they interrupted me again. I finally got to order my sandwich and I also wanted some cheese sticks and they said they didn’t have any appetizers even though there’s no sign says it.

Art’s the way it should be, I won’t go to the other ones, different owners, different food!! Michael, the owner of this one, makes everything the way the founders of Art’s intended them to be made!! The other two Art’s are no where near the old recipes!!

Arguably the best pizza in Anderson. Ordered 20″ around the world, 9″ cheese, and bread sticks. It was our first time in and the owner comped us with a roast beef sandwich. I liked the dine in option but the others in group felt it was to cold in dinning area and dated, but that’s what I like about out of the way places. Do yourself a favor and order a pizza, you won’t be disappointed.

I was born in Anderson and havent been back here in years. Called to get a roast beef sandwich ready for pick up. The employee said no orders for sandwiches are taken over the phone and no roast beef until Friday and hung up on me. I have never received bas customer service in the 40 years I have been coming to Art’s but last night was horrible and rude service over the phone. I wont be visiting this location again after that.

The pizza was okay, and the service was a little slow. However, they were friendly. The dining room needed some attention. It was really run down and could use a good cleaning. They also did not have a working restroom.

We waited 50 minutes for two pizzas when we got there the place looked completely unsanitary there missing flooring and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years one of the employees were sleeping in the booth of the place after waiting and our food still not being done we have to still wait and yell for someone bc it seemed like the place was empty after finally having someone come up we asked to cancel our order the girl got mad called us stupid and was very ignorant about it this place needs shut down terrible business

I love Arts! We went this afternoon right after opening and he didn’t have roast beef – which is the best. A cute little kid convinced us that the sausage sandwich was the best. The owner shared that they make their own sausage and pizza dough. I have to tell you- that was a great sandwich! Of course the ‘Round the World’ pizza was awesome as usual! Thanks Arts!

Very very good roast beef. Very very tender. Staff is great. It’s a slice of the best parts of Anderson. There homemade sausage is the best I’ve ever tasted. A 10 out of 10. Absalutely amazing.Deep fried mushrooms were very well done also. The jalapeno poppers are a must try with diced jelepino and the best quality cheddar cheese. Come visit Mike if your ever in Anderson. It will be a mistake if you don’t. You heard it here.

Great little pizza and other food choices. The locals love this place. If you’re passing through the area, it’s directly off one of the 2 Anderson I69 exits. You won’t be disappointed.
