Ordered thru door dash for the second time it was really good and packaged well. They give you plastic ware, condiments, napkins and nothing is ever missing. Although I live a ways away it’s always still hot

Stopped by for a late lunch before heading back to Ohio on US Route 36.

Decor is average, about on the same level as Waffle House. The staff were all wonderful! Very friendly and attentive.

Generous serving sizes and very tasty. I partook in the Grilled Turkey & Ham Club with fries. It tasted as good as it looks. My husband got the Pork Tenderloin and Eggs breakfast.

I’m sure I’ll stop by the next time I’m in Indianapolis to try some of their other offerings.

Too start I just want to say that we order from Art’s Skillet a lot and this time was terrible!! I ordered breakfast to go to take back to my office. I ordered a create your own omelet, hashbrowns, sourdough toast and a side of bacon. The omelet is good, the hashbrowns are dry, I was given white toast and told when I picked up my order that they are out of sourdough bread (should have been told that when I placed my order) and my side of bacon is burnt. When I got back to my office, which is only 3 minutes from the restaurant the food was cold, probably from the number of times that the boxes were opened to check if they were giving me the correct food. I was standing there watching because I was told my order would be done in 1 minutes so was there in 10 minutes and had to wait for another 15 minutes for my food. Maybe they should use a marker and write on the box what is in it the first time they open it so they do not have to continuously open it letting the heat out. Also, with a to go order you should give someone plastic wear and napkins, I got one fork and one napkin although I ordered food for 2 people. Just not good service this time and like I said we usually order to go food 2-3 times a week from them and this was very disappointing!!

Small, locally owned family style dinner. Great for a breakfast/brunch/lunch meetup or hangout. Wide pancake selection. And a great skillet/omelette menu. Clean, friendly staff, and quick service. Highly recommend!

We found this place on our way home from the airport one morning. We were looking for a non chain restaurant and we found it!!

This little diner really packs a punch with flavor! You can tell they care about how flavors play off one another.

I got the German Skillet. Omg that was good! I’m sure their recipe is a family secret but I’d LOVE to know their secret. It was not the average boring flavors and I loved it!!

My younger kids got the cinnamon roll pancake and French toast. It too was really well done.

My husband got an omelet with chorizo and a spicy sauce. He ate every bit. He too mentioned the complimentary flavors.

My son got a gyro sandwich with fries. I forgot to get a pic of it, but it was both traditional yet seasoned perfectly.

We will definitely go back!

Overall experience was good. Don’t let the exterior fool you. It’s a down to earth place. The food was quick and hot. The waitress was nice & attentive. The cheese grits and cubed potatoes needed to be jazzed up a bit (maybe more seasoning). For the price, it’s spot on.

The location on Pendleton Pike was bustling with business Sunday afternoon 6/30/24 around 1pm. Even though they were so busy, our group of 5 was seated quickly, and our server was quick and courteous. The food came out great, hot, fresh, with only a few minor corrections needed like I didn’t want powdered sugar on my pancakes. And the server forgot a bowl of fruit to bring. Completely understandable as she was swamped. We usually visit the location on East Washington Street, but this one here has been a new favorite. I recommend you visit.

All that I’ve said in the past is all still true. Today’s party of 7 was serviced without flawl. Everything was perfect.
Keep in mind it’s definitely smaller than the E. Washington st location as there’s only 1 stall for the ladies restroom.
