When I arrived I was greeted. The employees were friendly and eager to wait on us. That alone goes a long way these days. The place looks clean and orderly like a proper food establishment.
I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and bacon fries. The sandwich was loaded with bacon on a classic SJ Kaiser Roll. The fries were golden crispy and loaded with bacon too. There seems to be no sense of cheapness. Its fresh tasting and loaded.
Thanks for the great experience with great food. I will definitely be back to try more and give some more reviews on the food. Not all the places get those honors but I can see this being a regular spot to eat.

Very pleasant Gal took my order immediately even though she was already preparing another order. Made one of the best Hoagie I’ve had in recent memory. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I will definitely be stopping back at Art’s Deli

To start off the people here are amazing. So friendly and really make the whole experience better. We get sandwiches here every few weeks. I wish I could get here more often. I like the Tuna hoagie but my favorite is the Turkey and Bacon. They have a good selection of drinks and chips when picking up as well. The French Fries are always fried perfectly and the salads are amazing as well.

Love the hometown feel of your store!! My best memories of long ago, were of Ann Matrone’s on Market St. and your store gave me that same Gloucester down home feeling.

The GHS Class of 1975 would like to Thank Art’s Deli for your generosity in helping make our 50th class reunion a great success!!!

I moved to Gloucester City about 5 years ago and finally decided today to try their food. Not only are they expensive but the food was definitely disappointing. My husband’s cheesesteak was so sloppily made the bread was soggy, the meat falling out of the roll. My cheesesteak egg roll was still frozen in the middle.. terrible first and last experience

These are the cheesesteaks I dislike reviewing. The woman running the counter at Art’s is phenomenal. The roll was very good but too big. The meat did need flavor. Everything else was good but got lost in the roll. They needed 5lbs of meat and a wheel of cheese to fill that roll. It was a good roll but too big.

My friend told me they had one of the best hoagies…. So I went and grabbed one and it was amazing!! The best hoagie I’ve ever had. Fresh and very filling and the customer service was great! I also grabbed a breakfast sandwhich this morning and 10/10! So filling and delicious and I love the Kaiser roll! This is my new favorite spot!

I grew up in Northeastern Central Pa and boy do I miss those hoagies. This is the first hoagie that has filled that hole in my heart (and stomach).

Art’s is a really unassuming spot in an unassuming town. I’m really glad I live down the block. I order once a week now.

There are three things that make a great hoagie. The bread, the meat/cheese, and the fixin’s. Art’s piles it on. Everything. This hoagie is supported by a soft yet full roll, and is packed with anything and everything you need/want.

My two favorite things so far have been the Italian Deluxe and the Pork Roll, Egg, and Cheese. The bun the breakfast sandwich is on is fresh and perfectly sized. Every bite has filling.

Anyone living across the bridge needs to make the trip over to Gloucester City, because after all these years living in greater Philly, this is the first time I’ve been wholly satisfied with a hoagie in this area.

Good people who make great food. First east coast deli experience and I couldn’t be happier. The chicken parm sandwich is godly.
